Luna – Ragdoll of the Week

Hello! My name is Luna. I sometimes respond to Lu-Lu or Luna-baby as well. I am a seal-point Ragdoll, and I have two different shades of blue eyes! I came to live with my family when I was a few months old. Luna - Ragdoll of the Week image1 My family found me on Kijiji. They came out one to see me. They were talking about getting me. I knew it would be me because the other option was the runt of the group. One day, my family came to get me, and I got to ride in the front seat! When I started having eye pains, my family took me to this place, that I now know is called the vet. They put yucky stuff in my eye, but I loved my family, so I showed them that I did not care! Luna - Ragdoll of the Week image2 My family already had a dog when I arrived. He was named Murphy. I knew right away that this dog was getting too comfortable, so I put him in his place. Luna - Ragdoll of the Week image3 They pampered me! I got to be pet, and I got to sleep in the tall bed upstairs every night. I claimed this wool blanket on the tall bed as my own. Everyone would laugh when I rubbed myself in it! Luna - Ragdoll of the Week image5 My family would always play with me! I chased string, played with anything small, and played fetch! My family would throw a tiny furry ball and I would chase it, pick it up, and run away with it in my mouth. I even tolerated the dog playing with me. Sometimes, I had to swat at the dog to make sure he still understood that I was the cat in charge. I am a very curious cat if I do say so myself. I think I may just have the best house ever! There are so many places to hide, explore, and smell! I could go anywhere in the whole house! They don’t let me get into the roof anymore though. They closed the hole so I can’t finish exploring that. Every now and then, this clear wall will be opened, and I will sit on the couch, realizing that my house is not the only thing in my world! I found that there were other houses that held other cats around me! When I am not eating my Hills healthy advantage cat food, I am looking for ways I can drink from the toilet. They don’t let me, but I still try when I can! One day, the dog left. I felt a bit lonely. My human family noticed this and my world changed. One day, I met another Ragdoll just like me. I could tell he was a male so I hissed and scratched. I realized he was just a kitten, and my softie side came back. His name is Nova. Nova is now my best friend. I think he likes me. I like him. We play together all the time. Luna - Ragdoll of the Week image4 A lot of people who visit try to get me home with them. I don’t like it. I like it at my house. So, I run away and hide. I get help from one of the people. They would make sure I can’t leave with the visitors! I’m glad for that! Luna - Ragdoll of the Week
