My Ragdoll name is ISIS. She is 4 months old now. I had her for 3 weeks now. I bought her from a breeder. She just now really opened up to myself, my husband and 8-yr old daughter. She didn’t like to be picked up or rubbed. She would try to bite or scratch you.
Now since I bought a Russian blue kitten the same age as her they have been together for one week; now she cuddles with us, sleep with us, and fights for our attention and affection now. She loves to play with toys, although she likes to bite our wires, and shoes, which is bad.
Ragdolls look so cute & fluffy I couldn’t resist purchasing one. I also heard the breed was hypoallergenic & doesn’t shed that much, also a plus for me. I named her Isis from the Egyptian mythology.
I am in between trying to find the best organic kitten food, but so far she likes Nutro Soft Loaf chicken kitten food. She loves her catch the ball in grass toy, mouse and mouse stick toy. She loves to sleep on her cat condo & window perch. So far she won’t sleep in her cat bed.
We love our new addition to our family, soft and cuddly baby!!! I wanted a boy Ragdoll but the breeder only had two girls left. Also, my daughter wanted a girl kitten because our other kitten is a boy. Isis was the dominant aggressive one at first with our other kitten. Now she understands she has a playmate. I read that Ragdolls are prone to get heart disease, cataract, and bronchial diseases, and can live up to 15 years. That’s why I will try my best to feed her healthy quality food, so she can live a long healthy life as possible.
My 8 year old daughter loves snuggling with her now and rubbing her nose on her back when she picks her up. She always say she is soft and fluffy and cuddly. She is exactly the color I wanted the chocolate point mix with cream coat. As she gets older her coat will get darker. Her blue eyes are gorgeous, especially in pictures. She sleeps up to 15 hours a day or more. Normally she wakes up with our other kitten around 4am to start playing.
I would like to get them on a better schedule, hopefully. Our new bundle of joy does not like too many strangers around, or her vet visits. We all call her nickname fiesty, sassy, and frisky, even the vet calls her that. She will hiss at you if your not her family. She hates getting in her carrier. I bought the astronaut carrier. When she takes car rides; she cries until the car stops moving. I have recently started a YouTube channel on my new bundles of joy.
