My love for Ragdolls began somewhat unknowingly. When I was younger, I was much more of a dog person. But, my childhood friend had ragdoll cats and I remember them being the sweetest things in the world, almost dog like and super affectionate. As I grew up, my love for cats grew and I knew that when I graduated undergrad and moved into my apartment I wanted to get a kitten.
I saw my first ragdoll about 15-20 years ago when as a nurse, I was making a home visit for work. At the time, I had 3 cats and couldn’t add more cats to my household.
This is Miss Kensington – “Kensie” for short. How Kensie came to me begins as a rather sad story, but ends quite happily.
