Max – Ragdoll of the Week

Max became part of our family when we knew we wanted to add another addition to the family.

We got Max back in 2017 from a pet store in NY called Worldwide puppies and kittens. In all honestly this store was highly recommended plus we couldn’t find any breeder in the area who was selling Ragdoll kittens.

Traveling all the way to this pet store made me feel secure that I was going to come home with something. After giving them a call and sling for a Ragdoll Kitten then answered saying they had one left. We rushed and I’m glad we made the trip. It took us about a couple of weeks and a couple websites until we found our beloved Max.

Our very first Ragdoll Duchess is a lilac point and we thought she deserved a companion. We’ve had our girl for over a year and a half by this point, and i think she was super excited with the new preparations we were doing to the house. She knew something was up.

We got Max when he was approximately 3 months old and he’s been with us since.

Both max and Duchess are the most adorable couple I’ve seen my whole life. Now Max is one year and 8 months old. Max is the type of kitty that loves to snuggle in between our bed sheets and give kisses.

One strange thing is that for him to go to sleep he loves to come close to your face and nibble on your ear lobe. When he does that he will knock out immediately. He has always done that even as a kitten and he still does. My boy is very sweet and he wouldn’t even kill a fly. Max is also very friendly he has a best friend named Princess who is a chihuahua yorkie mix.

When Max and Princess first met it was surprising to see how friendly Princess was towards max. They got along so well and since we moved princess always comes to visit when grandma brings her along. The moment they both see each other it’s amazing. Also Max loves when we come home from work and he waits at the door for us to say hi to him. He always waits for us at the door with his one toy a toy bird and he always wants his belly rubs.

Max got his name because everyone in the family thought of it even before we got him. Max was our first male cats name and we thought it was time to finally bring a new Max home. When it comes for us to go to sleep he loves to sneak up on us and try and make his way into the sheets.

Max absolutely loves to watch TV and his favorite show is America’s funniest home videos. Max loves to eat American Journey chicken & turkey formula mixed with Merrick beef Wellington . Yummm!!!!! He is a healthy ten pound seal point ragdoll and me and my family love him so much . He was the perfect addition we needed to our family and know we wouldn’t know what to do without him.
