Dante – Ragdoll of the Week

Hello my name is Dante, I’m a Chocolate Point Boy and I am almost 8 months old, I started my life on April 2 2010 at a house filled with other cats that looked like me, I think humans call them a “breeder”, she must have been a good one because there were big ribbons everywhere but we couldn’t play with them because they were all too high. One day when I was about 3 months old some people came with an evil cage device, I overheard one of them call it a “cat box”, or in my language “immigration processing”. I loved my time at the breeder’s house with all my brothers and sisters but I knew that these new peoples would love me lots and lots and lots. I caught a glimpse of my own paperwork and thought I would tell you all it’s name “GuysnDolls Ragdoll Cats”, they are the bestest and make sure we are loved and fed and brushed and loved some more. I’m going to go play with my Bengal kitty friend now, I’ll let my human tell you all the rest…bye.

As you have just read Dante, named after Italian Poet “Dante Alighieri – author of Dante’s Inferno”, is from one of the world’s best breeders of Ragdoll cats, GuysnDolls Ragdoll Cats in Queensland, I will not argue with this claim as Dante has grown, and is still growing into a glorious, wonderful and most beautiful full size Ragdoll Cat. I had wanted a Ragdoll ever since I was in High school, I loved their laid back nature. Dante is not famous, he is not on YouTube, however I’m sure with half his antics he would make headlines as he runs through the house, ears back making like he is built for SPEEEED. Beyond running around trying to sneak up on the Bengal cat, unsuccessfully I might add, he has decided that sleeping in the dryer is a fantastic thing to do in summer and goes absolutely crazy for feathers, hence his nickname “feathers” (he also got this nickname for having a coat that feels like the softest duck down feathers).

Our Dante, and also Sparta the Bengal, get only human quality food with Tuna in the mornings and Beef or Lamb mince at night with Royal Canin dry food to balance out the wet food and to keep kitty balanced and healthy. They simply love the rope scratching post we have and as far as cat beds are concerned we have never owned them as the cats simply use our bed, the clean washing basket or the couch anyway.
