Review: Bowsers Pet Bed Urban Lounger Product Review

I am excited to bring you this Bowsers Pet Bed Urban Lounger Product Review.

When I was in Las Vegas in July for the pet trade show, SuperZoo, I walked the trade show after all the booths were empty and everyone had returned to their hotel rooms.  

It allowed me to explore and mess around with products without being asked questions, etc.  I came across the Bowsers Pet booth and loved all their beds plus the variety of fabric options they had.  So the next day I went by the booth and got a business card for someone I could contact for a review sample.  

I waited until the end of September to reach out to them for a review sample.  We went back and forth about which bed would be best for cats.  They mostly sell beds for dogs – and the beds they had deemed for cats, I didn’t think Charlie and Trigg would go for.  

As many of you know, we review over 50 products a year and have done so for 5 years, so I know pretty well if my cats will like a bed.  It was cool because Bowsers Pet was game to send whichever bed I thought would be best…and so we chose the Bowsers Pet Bed Urban Lounger, and then I got to chose the fabric we wanted.  I chose the Graphite Lattice.

So, we got the small Bowsers Pet Bed Urban Lounger Graphite Lattice.  This small cat bed measures 26″x18x”7″ and has been ideal for my large breed Ragdoll cats.

I love this pet bed.  It is super good looking, super well-made and both of my cats like it!  As I stated above, we review a lot of products and many, many pet beds.  However, coming across this quality and workmanship is rare these days – leave it to the Canadians to deliver a quality product that’s safe.  Bowsers products are produced in Canada using exclusively designed fabrics which remain both durable and washable throughout their product life cycle. Each bed is inspected to ensure superior quality and craftsmanship. Their fabrics are made in domestic mills and are Oeko-Tex certified. Oeko-Tex is an environmental association that tests and certifies that textile products do not contain nor are they produced using harmful substances and or chemicals.

Fabric Options

Bird’s Eye View of How the Cats Fit in This Cat Bed:

The bed has not faded or changed color since we’ve had it – the difference in the colors below has to do with the lighting in the room, the time of day as well as my camera’s choice of focusing.  I’d say the second photo below with Trigg is more true to the hue of color of the graphite lattice fabric option.

Bowser Dog Bed Washing Instructions:

For dogs or cats, the washing instructions are to unzip cover and remove bolster and cushion insert. Re-zip and wash cover only on cool setting. Tumble dry low heat.  I followed these instructions and had no issues with the bed looking just as good as it did when it arrived.  You can see that in our final review video posted below.
