Ragdoll Cats in the Snow
Many readers I have met through Facebook and we have consequently become friends through our Facebook profiles. As a result, I have seen a lot of photos of Ragdoll Cats in the snow in the past few months. So I began collecting them and with all the snow in Kansas City, I decided to collect a few of Charlie and Trigg to start out with:
Here are some of the ones I have gathered (with permission of course) – thank yous to everyone that agreed to share!!
Thank you to Berit Huseby for these beautiful photos of NO*Glassrosens Adorable Nala – Jan 14 2011.
Thanks to Leena Virtanen for these photos of Pablo, Jaska (the Great) and Prince – Ragdolls cats in the snow. You can check out Leena’s website – Leena and the boys.
Thanks to Sirpa Heiskanen of Snowrag for these fantastic photos of Snowrag See See RiderVeeti.
And lastly, thank you to Tiina Parkkila of WattuwarpaanRagdolls for these photos:

Hi, I’m Jenny Dean, creator of Floppycats! Ever since my Aunt got the first Ragdoll cat in our family, I have loved the breed. Inspired by my childhood Ragdoll cat, Rags, I created Floppycats to connect, share and inspire other Ragdoll cat lovers around the world,
What a wonderful and delightful post & pics, Jenny! Thank you so much for sharing these super pawesome Ragdoll In The Snow Pics!! LURVE THEM!! Such pretty kitties all!!! 🙂 <3
Big hugs & lots of love!!!
Patti & Miss Pink Sugarbelle 🙂 <3
Thanks, Patti – thought about rerunning this last night as I was watching Netflix wearing my puffy jacket and sitting on an electric blanket trying to stay warm.
LOL…brilliant idea!! You poor dear! With your aversion to the cold you must be suffering so much!! *BIG WARM CUDDLY LOVING HUGS* I know what you mean, though. Our heater just can’t keep up with THIS TYPE OF COLD!! I usually wear a tank top and capris and go barefoot around our apartment. I’ve been having to add a sweater to my daily ensemble lately to wear over my tank top!! So bizarre!!! 🙂 <3
ha ha ha on the sweater addition =)
🙂 <3
I kept meaning to take my indoor-only boy out in some of that snow we had so much of this winter, knowing how beautiful he would look, but I fear I’ve missed the boat this year. These gorgeous pictures have definitely inspired me to actually *do* it next year, though!
Thanks for compiling all of these; I’ll be coming back to admire them often! 🙂
Thanks for the compliments! Yes, kitties are beautiful in the snow! Is your kitty a Ragdoll?
Yes, indeed! My boy is all Ragdoll (and has a lot of Facebook friends, too, lol!).
Well…Boomer Zoomer should be featured as Ragdoll of the Week – only if you want him to be, of course!
I’ll see what he thinks about that idea! ;D
So pretty! They should feature a Ragdoll in the snow in calendar’s for December!
What beautiful photos! Rags look so natural in the snow with their big fluffy coats!
Thanks, Alissa – I had fun collecting these. I am grateful to the folks that shared them.
Thanks for sharing these adorable pictures! My Moosie loved wintertime; he was well-equipped for it with his thick coat and his furry snowshoe feet. I wish I had pictures of him strutting through the snow.
You’re welcome, Beth. It was a lot of work to collect them and I had hoped to get the post up sooner – but glad it is up now!
Plenty of winter remains, at least here in South Dakota. We will enjoy these snowy pictures all through summer, too 🙂
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Too bad we rarely ever have snow in this part of Texas.
Yes, it’s too bad because the kitties are just gorgeous in the snow!
