Petlibro Pet Water Fountain

The automatic pet water fountain from PetLibro can provide what-your-cat-will-think is fresh, running water through it’s filtered circulation system (but you will still need to refill it, clean it, etc).

This cat water fountain is easy to set up and use and it can bring a lot of benefits to your cat’s health.

Kitties on dry food diets or kitties with chronic disease need to drink more water and getting them to drink the proper amount of water on a daily basis can be extremely challenging for many cat owners.

Most cats only drink fresh water, which means that they drink from a traditional water bowl only once, right after the fresh water is put in.

When they come back for water later on and find that it does not smell the same and that it’s gotten warmer, they simply refuse to drink it. Most cats would rather wait to get fresh water rather than drink the water in their bowl that has been there and for most owners, it is impossible to change their water often enough because they are not at home with the cats during the day.

The effects of insufficient hydration come up in the long run, as cats develop kidney disease later in life.

However, these issues can be prevented quite easily with the automatic pet water fountain from Petlibro, which provides the cat with fresh water for every single serving.

Moreover, the quality of the water from the water fountain might actually make the cat drink more water because it simply tastes better. The water is colder – it is at the ideal temperature for drinking to quench the cat’s thirst – and it is always fresh. To get a better idea of what the Petlibro water fountain can do, here are some more of its features:

Superior Water Filtration

Not only is the water fresher and colder, but it is also cleaner because the water fountain has a 5-layer circulated filtration system – tray mesh, sponge, GAC (Granular Activated Carbon), ion exchange resin, and medical stone – which can filter out large particles, sand, rust, filter out debris in the water, and remove odors. It also softens hard tap water and it actively improves the quality of the water.

Large Reservoir that Provides Fresh Water 24/7

The Petlibro cat water fountain comes with a 74oz/2.2L reservoir, which is enough to provide a continuous supply of fresh clean water for the cat for as long as a month.

The water can be changed sooner, but the filtration system keeps the water fresh for a very long time. Even at this size, it takes up very little floor space, so it fits in every type of room.

Easy to Clean

The Petlibro water fountain is very easy to clean because it has a detachable design.

To clean the device, all you have to do is detach the parts. Then, just add the water between the MIN and MAX markings and it is ready for use.

Smart Control

When water levels are low, the Petlibro water fountain’s auto-off function comes in and the device shuts down before the pump gets to run dry. This ensures the safety of the device at all times.

Soothing During the Night

The water fountain is quiet, it runs at a low noise level of 38dB, which will not interfere with your sleep. It also has a smart night light auto on, which makes it quite soothing during the night, similar to a white noise machine.

All of my cats are at the age where Urinary and Kidney problems start. I am finding myself asking tons of questions like should I be using an additive for their teeth in Distilled water they drink. I would also like to know if the filter system can add any chemicals to the water! Thanks for the discount and they ship free. I’m thinking about it right now. Budget is tight

    1. I’d definitely reach out to the company and ask about the filter and chemicals…

The breeder from whom I got my Ragdoll told me to only give him water from a stainless or ceramic bowl. She said plastics can give the cat sores in or around their mouths. Have you heard this before? What materials is this water fountain made from? I want to get him a fountain but haven’t found one yet that I think he would like. Thank you.

    1. Think she meant cat acne can happen from plastic. It most certainly can and does for my Trigg, but not for my Charlie – depends on the cat. This cat fountain is made from plastic. All cat fountains have some sort of plastic in them. It’s just the plastic that hits their chin that is a problem – so if you find a fountain made from ceramic or metal, that might be better.

  3. This one looks like my cats might actually drink from it. They like their water from a human water glass on the counter, and this would fit there perfectly. Thanks for the info Jenny.
