Mila – Ragdoll of the Week

Hi, I’m Sonja and Ragdolls are just my most favorite of all cats! I had wanted a Ragdoll for about 15 years, and finally in 2019 I was able to have my dream come true. Mila - Ragdoll of the Week 8 I had a friend on a doll forum, I used to collect dolls, and she had Ragdolls and from her is where I got my love for the breed. She told me that they were just the best cats, very loving and very docile. And of course, very beautiful! I envied her so much, as she would share pictures and little stories of her cats. I bought my Mila Belle from an amazing breeder in Ft Collins, CO. She is a fabulous breeder whose sire and dame live in the house with her. I was sent weekly updates and videos. My breeder is Little Mitts Ragdolls in Ft. Collins and I would definitely recommend her! Mila - Ragdoll of the Week 7 When the kittens were weaning and starting on wet food, Mila didn’t take to the wet food at first. So, the breeder would warm up goats’ milk to feed her and hand fed her wet food to get her to eat. Mila is 21 months, so almost 2. Her birthday is January 19th. I was able to get her on April 26, 2019. Mila was the smallest of her litter and even now, she is very small but very healthy. She weighs about 9lbs now. She’s such a little snuggle bug, wants to be with me all the time. At night if I get up to go to the bathroom, when I get back into bed, she will come over to me and head butt my hand wanting me to pet her. Mila - Ragdoll of the Week 6 She loves little mice that rattle, she also loves springy toys. And of course, the red dot laser toy! Mila also loves play with her sister, my Maltese baby Coco. They love to play chase, especially in the mornings. And bugs! She will chase a moth to its death! Mila - Ragdoll of the Week 5 I’ve been working from home since March due to COVID and we found out last week that our office will not reopen until next July! So, all employees in North America will work from home. Mila’s favorite spot is on top of my laptop as I work. She loves it and will chase my curser around the screen. Eventually I move her off because I have to work. But she does have a very nice cat tree next to my desk, and she ends up there. Mila - Ragdoll of the Week 3 Mila is a blue bicolor mink and her eyes are a beautiful aqua color. And her fur is just amazingly soft. I brush her a few times a week, she tolerates it but I hurry to get it done. Mila - Ragdoll of the Week 4 I named her Mila because it’s just a pretty name and it means “dear” and she is very dear to me. Belle is because I’m from the south and she’s a little southern Belle. One thing Mila doesn’t mind is having her nails clipped. And the silly little beast loves me to file her nails! If I get my nail file to do my nails, she is immediately in my lap wanting the nail file, so I file her nails and she doesn’t object lol. Mila has the quietest little meow, and she even makes a sound like a cooing dove. Mila - Ragdoll of the Week 1 For food she is very picky, she doesn’t seem to like any wet food that is fishy, and chicken is her favorite. I feed her Wellness Adult Chicken in pate form. Mila doesn’t like chunky or flaked food; she likes her pate…she’s a princess! She also has Blue Buffalo Adult dry kibble to nibble on throughout the day, although it seems that the only time, she eats the dry is at night. Thank you for taking the time to read about my Mila Belle. 😊
