I recently published a request on our Facebook page, asking if anyone had a Ragdoll cat-focused YouTube channel to please reach out to me. I want to feature different YouTube channels that have Ragdoll cats – so readers can learn about them.
Hello cat lovers,
My husband and i are servants of 2 cats. Cleo (2001) she’s a British Shorthair and Timo (2012), a Bicolor Seal Ragdoll Cat.
When my first cat died at age 20, i wanted another cat after a while. Cleo was 11 years old at that time and unfortunately she’s a bit scaredy cat.
I knew i had to search for a loving cat, no dominant/ overbearing character, and it had to be a male. I did a lot of research about Ragdolls and knew that i wanted a Ragdoll Cat for sure. And it all worked out fine.
Unfortunately they are not big friends, but that’s only because of Cleo’s scaredy character. I’m very happy they have accepted each other without any problems.
I recognize in Timo a lot of the things i’ve read about Ragdolls, for instance;
Loving/ gentle character, adorable, lazy, huggable, fluffy, calm, laid back, dog like and getting well with other pets.
It’s true what they say…Ragdolls are addictive!
I’ve started my YouTube channel (Xiedubbel) in 2012 since Timo was a kitten. I was so in love with him from day 1, i just had to film him and share Timo with the rest of the world.
My channel is all about Timo the Ragdoll cat and his special friendship with Koi fish and his silly antics (his famous hammock video is a good example) 😉
Timo is visiting his Koi buddies since he was a kitten. At first i was afraid that he would harm them, but i’m glad that never happend.
He’s always very gentle to them, never use his nails while petting them.
Timo has a special friendship with one Koi in particular, the grey one (called Soragoi Koi). You will see this Koi in all his videos about the pond). This Koi always swim right up to Timo and Timo has even give him a “kiss”, he’s also petting him almost every day. It’s still special after all those years. Also good to know, he never fall into the pond.
Do you know of a YouTube channel that features Ragdoll cats? Please post a link in the comments so we can contact them to be featured!
