You may recall the name of Whole Life Pet RealFoodie treats because we have already reviewed two of the other flavors they currently come in – chicken and salmon. 

Whole Life Pet makes some of the healthiest cat treats on the market – we have been reviewing them for years, and my 11-year-old Ragdoll cats, my parents’ 16-year-old Ragdoll cat, my sister’s 6-year-old Ragdoll cats, my parents’ 3-year old German Shepherd, and my sister’s 1-year old German Shorthaired Pointer, all love them.  

And that’s the nice thing with single-ingredient treats like this one – they can be fed to cats and dogs.

Whole Life Pet RealFoodie Wild Tuna Fillet Treats are USA-sourced and produced freeze-dried treats.

As their name suggests, these healthy cat treats are one-ingredient treats – pure wild tuna fillets that have been freeze-dried. There are 6 fillets in the bag – the bag is vacuumed, sealed, and then put into a zipper stand-up pouch.

So when you first receive them, they will be in the vacuum packaging, but once you cut that open to access them, you can always store them in the stand-up bag they come in.

These treats are super easy to break apart with your hands. During the review process, I slowly broke off portions of the filets to give to my cats. I like that breaking off the portions helps reduce the powder you get from the Whole Life JustOne treats.

Rehydration

You can also rehydrate them! That’s right – plop them in a cup or less of water, wait 2-3 minutes, and they will rehydrate – an excellent option for a kidney cat or to bring out the aroma of the meat more strongly.
