KATRIS is at it again – creating cool cat products out of cardboard that our kitties will love. When we opened up our KATRIS Nest, my Ragdoll cat Charlie immediately leaped on it and started to scratch. Shortly thereafter, he plopped down and started to groom himself – he was immediately at home. KATRIS understands their clients – cats – wants and needs and designs products that are aesthetically pleasing for their owners.
They are launching a Kickstarter campaign for their latest creation, the KATRIS Nest – which is a round cat bed made out of cardboard. Are you familiar with crowdfunding campaigns like those on Kickstarter? Basically, they allow companies to bring a prototype to market, show what it’s made out of, what it can do, etc. and then allows people like you to buy the future product at a reduced cost by supporting their campaign. The campaign funds help the product go into production and eventually to market. If the campaign is successful, then the bed (in this case) could be improved upon or stay the same as the prototype, so you have a chance to be as critical as possible.
I knew from the photos KATRIS sent us that it would be a hit in our home – my cats seem to love round-shaped cardboard cat bed scratchers. You can see how they responded in our unboxing video below:
