Cat Allergies Gone After Menopause

image“I have a story I would like to share about allergies, menopause, and cats.

Ever since the birth of my first child I have been allergic to cats. Something in my chemistry must have changed as I was not allergic as a child.

I have always loved cats but because of my allergies never was able to have one. 🙁

I am now 55 years old, and am so excited to tell you that Mocha and Mitzy (two Ragdolls) are now mine!! ( I could almost cry) I am no longer allergic to cats!!! Going through menopause has once again changed something in my chemistry and “Praise The Lord” my cat allergies are gone!!

In case anyone might ask, I am taking no medication. Nothing! No hormone therapy etc.
I merely went through the change, and it changed my chemistry so once again I am not allergic to cats.

Often times I hear the negatives of menopause, but not with me! What a blessing, I am now the proud Mommy of Mocha and Mitzy! I love them so much and am so very grateful for whatever took place to take away my allergies.

So the moral to my story is….I am a very thankful, proud owner of Moch and Mitz and will be sharing them with all of you. :)”

  1. Generally allergies come and go and just because you are allergic to some cats doesn’t mean you’ll be allergic to others. Ragdolls don’t seem to be as bad as other breeds that you might be allergic to.

  2. That’s fantastic but so weird. What did your doctor say was the reason? How interesting. Welcome to the world of Ragdolls
