My first impression of the 8-in-1 Slow Feeder Snuffle Mat was very positive. The variety of features and the high-quality materials impressed me. It felt like a well-designed and versatile cat puzzle feeder. And I loved, LOVED the way that is came packaged, which you can see in the unboxing video below.

The packaging is secure and keeps the product protected during shipping. The snuffle silicone mat can be a little misshaped from sitting in the box in an awkward state, but it doesn’t take long for it to achieve a flattened state once it is put on the ground.

However, there may be dissembling or assembly depending on what part of the 8-in-1 you want to use. For example, if you want to use the lick plate, spin it off from the bottom of the slow feeder bowl. Or, if you want to use the slow feeder ball and have it spin inside the slow feed bowl, then you will need to connect it there.

Best Benefit
In my opinion, the best benefit of the 8-in-1 slow feeder cat toy is its versatility. Cons
I found that the cats didn’t like to step on the snuffle mat – this might vary from cat to cat, but I don’t think they liked the silicone on their paw tufts of hair. So, I couldn’t really use the silicone mat with a slow feeder bowl and ball. When we used the ball in the slow feeder bowl, it was always separate from the mat. Perhaps over time they would get used to it, and it would depend on the cat and their food motivation.
