World’s Best Cat Litter Forest Scented Review

World's Best Cat Litter Forest Scented ReviewWe use Precious Cat Litter Ultra as our main litter.  I know there is controversy over clay litters and respiratory issues as well as the litter clumping in the stomach.  So I know that a lot of you prefer to use World’s Best Cat Litter which is corn based rather than clay based.

We have tried the following versions of World’s Best Cat Litter:

We were sent a bag of World’s Best Cat Litter Dark Green (Forest Scented Multiple Cat Clumping Formula) to test out.  The cats used the litter almost immediately and when Caymus came over – he used it immediately.

It is crazy lightweight compared to clay and has a cedar smell that reminds me of the smell of guinea pig cages – because of the cedar shavings used to line guinea pig cages.

I actually really enjoy mixing the Precious Cat Litter Ultra clay with the World’s Best Cat Litter Forest Scented.  It keeps the smell down and also a provides a fresh smell because of the cedar pine.

When it comes to litter, the only true litter solution are those that:

  1. Your cat likes – so s/he goes in it
  2. You like – so you don’t hate the whole process

And our final review video:

Transcript from our video’s audio:

“Today we are doing the final review of World’s Best Cat Litter, their forest scented, quick clumping formula. It is made with a blend of 100% natural wood fibers, and this is their clumping formula too. If you like clumping litter and a forest scent, or pine scent, this is the way to go. Charlie’s gone into the… What is he doing? This is also the day that we’re doing the arrival video, so I wanted to make sure that I kind of did the whole process for the review.

This video, the review video, is going to be me trying to grab the camera as fast as I can, if this little monster is going to use the litter box, or if this little monster is using the litter box, so that I can catch him.

Okay, so I emptied the bag into the two NVR Miss litter boxes, and then those are two storage bins that have their other litter in it. You can see there’s quite a bit of litter in both boxes, and then there’s also a good portion of litter left. So, I’ll be able to use this for quite some time. This video is going to be one video, but it’s going to be over the course of several weeks so that I get this… We’re doing this arrival video on February 21st, and then the review video that you’re watching now will be published I think March 19th or 18th, whichever one of those is a Tuesday in 2013.

Yes, looks like Charlie picked that one over that, but we’ll see how it progresses if he chooses otherwise.

Okay, today I’m filming, and Caymus is here, but my camera was charging when he was going to the bathroom. Instead, we are going to look at World’s Best Cat Litter being scooped. This is their new forest scented litter. That’s what it looks like when it is scooped. Caymus is my mom’s cat, in case you’re not familiar with Floppycats and all that kind of stuff. He was just over here visiting. He had a choice between clay litter and World’s Best Cat Litter. He’s used the clay litter once, and World’s Best Cat Litter once. This is the third time since I put it in these two Never Miss litter boxes that I have scooped it.

So, Charlie has used it once for number two. He’s used it once for number one. Caymus used it once for number one. I have to tell you, it has an awesome scent afterwards. It really… It’s almost like the pine/cedar small becomes more fragrant after they go to the bathroom. It’s kind of pleasant rather than smelling feces and stuff like that. So far, so good. Really excited about it, and we’ll continue.

Okay, so today we are doing our final review of World’s Best forest scented cat litter. They are so excited. As you can see how I’ve had it set up, is the storage bins, they have their regular litter and then the forest scented is in either of the Never Miss litter boxes. I just vacuumed all of this last night, so to give you an indication, it does scatter. It’s easy to vacuum though, so if that doesn’t bother you, that’s not a problem for me. I also am washing the rug that I keep under these. Usually, I’d have a rug and then I could pick up the rug, and then I just sprinkle it into the trash can.

Let’s see, I think Charlie might have gone number two in here. Let’s see what the situation is in here, and I’ll pull it out. When Charlie came upstairs to me after he went in here, he had that dust all over his face. So, these are things that don’t necessarily bother me, but they are things that I want to point out in case you’re considering the litter, and if those are make it or break it deals for you. This is absolutely my favorite version of World’s Best Cat Litter. We have tried the green, the red, the purple, and now the dark green. The dark green is the forest scented. The green is just their regular normal litter. Red is multi-cat litter. Then the lavender, the purple one is lavender scented. But this one by far… In comparison to clay littler, for example, World’s Best Cat Litter is so lightweight. I mean, it’s ridiculous how easy it is to lift the bag compared to a big bag of clay litter.

I actually really, really like to mix it with the clay litter. I find that it works really well, and I can’t believe whenever I review litter that I film it. Film scooping their dumps. And, Charlie’s going to the bathroom. So, I think that is it. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I am all for this litter. I don’t have oppositions to it. Is that a word? Oppositions. I’ll include a link in the description below. It’s being sold at pet specialty stores as of March 2013, like Petco, PetSmart, and maybe an independent pet store. You might want to call ahead in your area to see if they carry it.

It’s not being sold at Target like the other varieties, but it might be in the future if it’s popular enough. It is, again, my favorite version of World’s Best Cat Litter that we’ve ever product tested. Thanks so much for watching, and we’ll see you next time.”

  1. Lisa C. says:

Has anyone ever had an issue with allergies from this litter? Just wondering because corn can be an allergen for some animals, like wheat etc. Just wondering.

    • Jenny says:

Lisa, here’s what I got back from WBCL:

“World’s Best Cat Litter™ is made from whole kernel corn. Like their human counterparts, animals may either have or develop allergies to grains such as corn. If users notice any unusual conditions after their cat has been exposed to World’s Best Cat Litter™, our recommendation is to discontinue use to rule out any possible allergies to the product.
