My Aunt Nicky, who is the reason why I have Ragdoll cats, has a new Ragdoll cat named Prince William – I introduced him on the website months ago.
A friend of my Aunt’s sent her an interactive cat toy called the Undercover Mouse. My Aunt called me to tell me about how crazy Prince William was about it and then kept calling me and telling me – so she bought one for Trigg and Charlie to test out and gave it to my mom to give to me. Well, I picked it up at my parents’ house, where their cats, Caymus and Murphy, live, so I decided to try it out on them before I brought it home.

since Charlie and Trigg visit Caymus and Murphy often, I figured it could be a toy that they played with over there.
As the name of the product suggests, there is an undercover “mouse” that moves around under the yellow ripstop nylon skirt. This interactive cat toy brings out the hunter/predator skills in your kitty – just watch the videos below to see how Caymus and Murphy got into it.
The Undercover Mouse sells for $29.99 + $5.65 shipping on Amazon.com.

My husband and I were watching the first video when we heard you call Caymus “Moosie”. My last Ragdoll’s nickname was Moosie. He was a Seal Point who looked much like your kitties. My Magnificent Moose passed away just before Christmas. Sometimes he was timid like your Caymus and other times he was very playful like your Beau. Thank you for sharing these cute videos.
My Ragdoll kitty, Annie LOVES this toy. It’s in her top 2 favorites. When I need to distract her from something, I just turn it on and she plays with it for a long time.
Haha, Murphy is halarious – I can’t believe he broke it. That toy looks like so much fun! I wonder if it works on carpet…
Yes, I would guess that it does. He didn’t break it, just took the handle thing off, which was easy to put back on!
[…] Murphy liked it immediately. Caymus was a little more timid, but eventually warmed up to it. Charlie and Trigg went for it immediately. I shared this on the blog. […]
