For years I’ve always wanted a cat to call my own, however it always seemed I couldn’t find one that was compatible to be around dogs. One day a friend called and said they were having a cat show in my area so I jumped at the
chance to go on the website about the show.
Sunny was born on August 11th, 2006 in Omaha, Nebraska at his breeder’s home.
We purchased Gary and Minou in March from RaggleRock Ragdolls. Irene is an incredible breeder. She truly cares about the breed and only has every kitten’s best interest at heart.
In August 2003, my beloved Ragdoll, Melville, died after a long series of illnesses. Because he was such a sweet temperament cat, we decided to get another purebred Ragdoll. We located a breeder in South Jersey who had a couple of litters and gave her a call, telling her we wanted one Ragdoll kitten.
London, a blue point Ragdoll Mix, Is the “big baby” of the household. He is currently 6 months old and full of energy. He was born, October 5th 2009 behind our couch, along with 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
In 2005, we lost our Maine Coon cat, Toonces, to poor health and old age. We were heartbroken, and we were seeking out another breed of cat to fill our hearts and our home. We went to a local cat show in Des Moines, Iowa. There we found a breed of cat that we instantly fell in love with Ragdoll cats.
We got interested in a Ragdoll after we lost our first two kitties. They were each 16 when medical issues caught up with them, and we had to put them down. Hooligan was adopted from a neighbor; she was a psycho-cat that we kept only because we knew that she wouldn’t be adoptable.
Tobias, the Bi-colour Blue Ragdoll, is quite the character in our home
We got Lilly as a companion for our first Ragdoll, Tyler. Tyler began attacking my legs (in a playful but painful way) every time I went to bed, and then he would meow endlessly and very pitifully, so we decided he needed another companion.
