Check out this video that we took over Thanksgiving when I had to trim Ragdoll cat Trigg’s nails with the Zen Clippers when Trigg was a little more stressed out.
Recently, a blind reader reached out to me looking for a cat nail clipper that would be great for a blind person. Zen Clippers prevent you from cutting the kitty’s quick. Also, these are great because there’s no way to cut your finger (I’ve tried).
Check out these great cat nail clippers from Whisker Wishes. They worked great for us.
The Zen Clipper Cat Nail Clippers are designed to clip the tip of the nail through a conical blade that only allows the tip of the pet’s nail into the cutting area.
The Purrfect Claw Clipper is a pair of human nail clippers with a twist – there’s a little guard with a hole in it.
Do you clip your cat’s nails or do you take them to the vet to have it done? When a Floppycats’ reader posted about this subject a few weeks ago on Facebook, it made me think to do a blog post about it. I clip Charlie and Triggs’s nails myself – they aren’t crazy about it, but tolerate it. Rags never seemed to care – just sat there until I was done.
This cat grooming brush is a lovely concept – it’s like a Furminator with a vacuum behind it.
We were mailed 2 cat grooming supplies by Miracle Care. Their De-Shedder and Quick Finder. Up first are the Miracle Care Quick Finder Cat Nail Clippers.
