A Ragdoll Forum is a place where you can meet other Ragdoll owners, breeders, and aficionados. Ragdoll cats’ discussion forums are a great way to exchange information. If you need a cat forum for help, this is the spot for you.

Since the invention of Facebook groups, our forum has been moved.  Join our Floppycats Facebook Group here.

Another way to communicate with fellow Ragdoll “people” is to join our Yahoo! Group discussion. Yahoo! Groups allow you to send an email to all the members in the group through one e-mail address. So, in other words, you are allowed to communicate with several people all at once and will get several responses if you ask for them and sometimes if you don’t!

If there are other Ragdoll blogs or forums we have failed to mention on this page, please send us an e-mail and let us know about them!

  1. My husband & I have a 5 month old male Ragdoll and we absolutely love him but we are unable to have a normal dinner without putting him in a different room behind a closed door, if not he’s all over us trying to get our food. His appetite is nothing short of varashus. In addition he will think nothing of crawling up the back of our legs to our back. We have tried everything to discourage this and nothing works. I understand he is a kitten but I worry if this behavior will continue when he is an adult. HELP

We have a 4 month old male Ragdoll and mine does the same as yours. Could be hands, legs, BACK, and can be quite aggressive. My husband on the other hand? No behavior like that. My daughter thinks it’s my energy he picks up on. I haven’t a clue. Just know you are not alone.

We have a beautiful 19 month old
male ragdoll cat. He is a wonderful cat except that at least once a day he lunges at me and bites with full force my arms, legs, or shoulders for absolutely no reason. My husband and I are his parents and only care takers. He plays with my husband but does not forcibly bite him or anyone else. We have two small grandkids and he is very gentle with them. He adores everyone and wants to be in the center of everything! I must say that he bites me but also is very affectionate with me. I’ve tried everything to make him stop biting me and would never harm him . I need help!!! I have raised 10 cats in my lifetime and never had an issue with any of them until now. I’ve talked with the breeder and she is also perplexed.and has truly tried to help.

    1. Could be a smell on your hands. Hand cream bleach ammonia vinegar perfume.
