Ragdoll Cats Playing With Tampons

Over a year ago, I ran across a blog post on a blog called, Alone…with cats.  The author talked about her cats and how much they love tampons.  Hilarious.  She had me in tears by the time I was done reading her post.  And she makes a great point, “They crinkle and tear… roll and bounce…and even have a little string on the end.”

Turns out my two Ragdoll cats love playing with Tampons too – here’s a video I captured of them doing just that.

Do your kitties love tampons for cat toys?

Such a cute video (as always!)!

Hilarious stories, ladies! I’ll have to buy a small box and see if Pink Sugar will love to play with them. (Haven’t had any in the house for years as I have no need for them anymore! Yay!) 🙂 <3

My cat thought they were little mice since they had “tails”. We used to blush and then LOL whenever she would show my friends her toys.

They’re such little safe crackers, aren’t they, Kate? A couple of mine can open most cupboard doors in record time 🙂

Mine love them too. Which one of them proved at the first dinner party I ever had. Carrying it in his mouth right through the dining room. Ever since them, they’ve always been kept in a cupboard with a closed door. (The tampons, not the cats. Anytime the cats have been in a cupboard has been of their own volition and without my approval.)

When I was a young bride, my kitten dragged a tampon out of my purse and started playing with it in the living room when we had company. This happened 50 years ago (before the earth cooled, etc.) when the word tampon wasn’t spoken in mixed company. I was SO embarrassed!

Brings back memories… thanks for sharing 🙂
