Ragdoll Cat YouTube Channel Feature: Ragdollicious Cats

I recently published a request on our Facebook page, asking if anyone had a Ragdoll cat-focused YouTube channel to please reach out to me. I want to feature different YouTube channels that have Ragdoll cats – so readers can learn about them.  Please continue to send me suggestions and names, so that we can continue with these features =)

We (Remy and Sarah) are the ‘founders’ of the YouTube channel Ragdollicious Cats. After moving together, we desired to have two lovely cats to complete our starting family. We looked into different breeds, and we fall in love with the Ragdoll. Their gentle character, their playful mind and their adorable appearance made us adore this breed. In November 2016 we adopted two lovely Ragdolls Dolce (Dolly) – a seal point Ragdoll – and Gabbana (Gabby) – a blue point Lynx Ragdoll. We were so amused by them and started to collect movies as a memory for their kittenhood. After a while, we thought it would be nice to share these videos with family and friends. Everyone was so enthusiastic about the videos that they suggested we share them on YouTube… and as a result, Ragdollicious Cats was started!

At the moment, Dolly and Gabby are 1.5 years old. By reading and learning more about the breed, we decided (before purchasing our darlings) that we wanted to contribute to the breed and start a small hobby cattery. After testing our sweethearts, we found that Gabby was a carrier of the HCM3 gene mutation. We were stunned by this news. The dishonesty of her breeder shocked us, as we purchased her as a Ragdoll from tested parents. In short, we decided to sterilize Gabby and we will give her yearly screenings to ensure that she can have a happy and healthy life with us. Dolly on the other hand – who was purchased from another (honest) breeder – will have her first litter in Spring. We found a very beautiful Ragdoll sire for her! We will be happy to share beautiful kitten videos on our channel in the future!

Dolly and Gabby are amazing cats, making our lives complete! They give us so much joy and pleasure in our life! One of our favorite videos we made was for a contest in the Netherlands in which you could win a car if your video had enough YouTube views. We contacted the Opel showroom and were allowed to make a video! As you will notice from our channel, Gabby is an adventurous Ragdoll who likes to explore new things. She had an amazing day at the Opel showroom where she could snuffle around in an exciting environment!

Like all cats, Dolly and Gabby like to sleep a lot! In their Ikea Duktig cat bed video, we assembled a Duktig bed for them. Dolly and Gabby helped with the preparation of the bed. Dolly enjoys rubbing her face to random objects. She is a big fan of leaving marks around the house and on us! In this video you can see her marking the new bed as hers!

Gabby and Dolly are very playfull! In all of our videos I think it is very clear that our sweeties are very eager to play and chase around with new toys. In this video you can see how excited they were from this new cat toy. We purchased this toy on the World Cat Show in Rijswijk (2017) and they adore it so much! We hope that through our videos we inspire our viewers and give them a smile on their faces!

Do you know of a YouTube channel that features Ragdoll cats?  Please post a link in the comments so we can contact them to be featured!
