Ragdoll Cat Charlie Playing With The CVS Pharmacy Weekly Circular Ad

Share this post:

As most Ragdoll cats, Charlie used to always join me in the bathroom when I went to go and use it.  In my first floor half bath, there is a sink that is pretty much eye level when I am doing my business.  He eventually figured out that he could jump in that sink and lay there – and stare at me.  At one point, I am sure, I was reading a grocery store ad circular or a CVS circular (I am a crazy couponer) and probably lightly swiped the circular over Charlie asking him to stop staring at me…and that was the start of all of this below!

Trigg, on the other hand, has no idea what I am doing if I attempt this behavior with him.

Here’s Charlie at 2 years old playing with a CVS Pharmacy Ad Weekly Circular:

Here’s a more recent example of how Charlie still does this at 7 years old – notice how he whacks my iPhone right out of my hand thinking it’s the paper again!

Does your kitty like to play with paper like this?

  1. ADORABLE VIDEOS, Jenny! Lurved your laugh in the Instagram video where it looks like he might have knocked the camera from your hand! lol 🙂 <3

Don't really play any paper games with Miss PSB like this. But we play other games like peek-a-boo under our bed covers and "finger wiggle" (where I wiggle my fingers on the outside of my thighs when I'm sitting in my recliner. She hears the rubbing sound of my fingers against my pants and focuses all her attention on that if she's in the living room. Then she slowly stalks my fingertips as they become visible between my outer leg and the side of the armrest on the recliner and then *BAM* she jumps up and grabs at my fingers with her paws (always gently with no claws…just her soft little pippy paws). Every. Single. Time. She NEVER tires of this game! 🙂 <3

Big hugs & lots of love!

    Patti & Miss Pink Sugarbelle 🙂 <3
