These wool cat ball toys are a big hit with my cats, who love chasing them around the house. I am always fishing them out from under beds. These ball cat toys come with the option to arrive pre-steeped in catnip tea. I chose to do that, and am glad I did because the cats really went crazy for them when I unboxed them. They are 1.5 inches in diameter, dense, and firm. They are a very nice size for cats to play with, but the company also offers larger sizes for dogs that I think would also be fine for a cat. You can specify a color or receive a variety of colors the company chooses for you. I got three regular wool balls and one wool jingle ball cat toy. If ordering again, I would get the jingle cat balls because my cats favor those and the sound tells them it’s time to play. If they lose their shape or start to get a little worn down, they can be rewashed and dried to refresh. They can also be re-steeped in catnip tea by preparing catnip like regular tea and adding the ball. I especially like that these are handmade by a small business.
