Description
This feline species-specific blend of probiotics has been specifically tailored to cats and includes feline strains that are the only ones to be proven to be viable in a cat’s gut.
These healthy bacteria have several benefits, helping to fight off the malignant bacteria that can cause clostridium, e-Coli, and salmonella. It can also help to prevent insatiable itching and allergies, and assist with loose or inconsistent stools, vomiting, and upper respiratory infections.
The blend also contains humic and fulvic acids. Humic acid helps to target and fight inflammation, slowing down any negative changes in your cat’s cells. Fulvic acid helps the cell membranes to be more permeable, which allows more of the available nutrients from your cat’s diet to enter the cells and also remove toxins at the same time.
Lactic acid bacteria help to produce more lactic acid to prevent yeast growth, lowering the pH of the intestines and also creating a barrier against pathogens. Also included in the blend is Larch Arabinogalactan, a prebiotic that supports colon health and has been shown to block the metastasis of cancerous tumor cells.
This blend can be added to your cat’s food as a topper or mixed into it, with recommended servings between 1/8 tsp to 1/2 tsp depending on your cat’s weight. Felix’s Flora is suggested for use during and after a course of antibiotics as it can help to replace the lost ‘good bacteria’.
This blend has a minimum shelf life of 12 months, and it should ideally be refrigerated once opened for optimal freshness although this is not essential.
