AIRDOCTOR AD2000 4-in-1 Air Purifier

The AirDoctor AD2000 is an air purifier designed for small and medium-sized rooms. It uses multiple layers of filtration to remove dust, pet dander, and other unwanted molecules from the air, which can help you and your cat to breathe a little bit easier.

Description

Engineered for smaller spaces, the AirDoctor 2000 is still a powerful purifier. For example, in a 305 square foot room, it’ll circulate the air four times every hour, or twice per hour in a room double the size. That’s frequent enough to remove all the nasties from the air to make it safer and healthier for you and your pet.

It uses a three-stage filtration system to remove every unwanted molecule. The first stage is a pre-filter which captures the bigger particles you can see with the human eye, including pet hair and dust. This filter traps them to stop them from floating around the air in your home.

Next up, the air passes through a carbon filter that captures any Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). VOCs are the molecules released by your cat’s litter tray, so trapping these compounds helps to minimize any odors in your home.

The final filter is a HEPA one, designed to trap the very most minor allergens and other toxins from the air in your home down to 0.003 microns. While an air purifier won’t prevent allergies if you live with your pet, it can massively reduce their impact. Any allergic guests visiting your home may not be affected.

You can manually control the AirDoctor 2000 or switch it into automatic mode. It then monitors the air and switches on when it detects a dip in the quality. Be careful if you use this next to a litter tray – the switching on could spook your cat and cause them to fear going near it.
