Why Is Pet Memorial Jewelry a Good Way to Cope

A beloved jewel is something you can treasure for years and years to come. It is an item that will make you happy, that will make you feel beautiful when wearing it, but that will also bring back a powerful memory. For most jewels, it is the moment when it was received. A birthday, an engagement, a thoughtful gift from a loved one, these are only some examples, but another excellent one is honoring the memory of your pet.

Pet memorial jewelry can unfold a solid coping mechanism for dealing with the loss of your pet. By wearing, you can still feel a strong connection with your pet and it will make you feel as if you have that piece of your past right there with you.

Another advantage is that it allows you to mourn the loss of your pet in privacy. Whether you choose to turn your pet’s ashes into glass, crystal, or diamond, the outcome will be an authentic jewel. You will be the only one who knows the story behind it and you get to choose who you want to share it with.

Unlike other jewelry that you can wear to remember your pet by, such as a locket with a picture of your pet inside, cremation jewelry is actually made from your pet’s ashes. It has a much more powerful quality about it that will make you feel closer to your beloved pet. Every time you look at that stone, you will know that you are actually holding your pet.

I am going to do this with some ashes from my Kiley Moo…I got her ashes and paw imprint yesterday, it was exactly 4 weeks ago yesterday that I had her put to sleep.
I am so thankful for this post.
    Thanks,
    Michele

i wish i had saved some of my dog’s ashes to do this. i had a beautiful urn with her picture on the front it done. it sits on my piano so i can talk to her everyday. i think i would cry too much if i was wearing a piece of jewelry with her ashes in it. i would be scared of losing it as well and then i would be even more devastated.

=) the nice thing about the jewelry is that it only takes a small amount of ashes – so if you lose it, you will still have the majority of the ashes and could make another.
