The stones are also a more permanent way to honor your pet if diamonds and crystals aren’t really your style or are available within your budget. Ashes may encounter all sorts of accidents but stones are much more durable and a great option to keep your friend with you while working your way through pet loss.

i wish i had saved some of my dog’s ashes to do this. i had a beautiful urn with her picture on the front it done. it sits on my piano so i can talk to her everyday. i think i would cry too much if i was wearing a piece of jewelry with her ashes in it. i would be scared of losing it as well and then i would be even more devastated.

    1. =) the nice thing about the jewelry is that it only takes a small amount of ashes – so if you lose it, you will still have the majority of the ashes and could make another.
