Parker James – Ragdoll of the Week
Parker James – Ragdoll of the Week
My sweetheart, my baby, already 1 year! Born on the first of July 2014…
When I met him, it was love at first sight…
He was the shyest kitten of all, but when I asked him, “Will you come home with us?” He kindly mewed back and gave over to my attention, he looked like his head was a little too big and he was certainly not the most beautiful kitten out a nest from 5 … But he stole the heart of my boyfriend too , I didn’t have to ask my boyfriend twice , to have Parker as a new house-member.
We got him from a breeder who is very attached and following up the kittens until they grow up, knowing they are well being taken care of…. Froni , la mama ! Not to be forgotten to be mentioned … She is and stays , la mama 😉 always worries and takes the best care for her kittens to be placed in a loving home! Me, I’m very attached to Parker James …
We talk every morning , evening , to each other, like we understand each other, he is the most precious gift in my life, although he was very fragile when we brought him home , he was in treatment for toxoplasmosis, he grew up as a very clever and strong cat! His weight at the moment is 5,5 kilo, has no fat just a little hanging belly 😉 I think he runs a bit behind, because of his illness at the start …
He likes to go out in the yard, even when it’s raining, loves to play and greets me every day, lying on his back, asking for attention. Winks at me to make me melt… sometimes he goes outside and watches birds from a spot, so they can’t see him, he is a curious cat, very clever and reliable, he never gets his nails out to scratch us, as a matter of fact, and I can cut them easily when necessary.
He enjoys the brush even lifts his paws so I can reach every spot on his tummy 😉
I know for me, he’s the love of my life, but I’ll take Ragdoll of the Week as a very big compliment…
Parker James, got his name, because we had to find a name with P…. Froni said, Parker like in a pen, I thought more of him like a tough being, PJ, Parker James …. and he came out as ….
My fragile Mr. Right, but still a name that stands… So Parker James, sir Parker James, and that’s what he means to me…
My daughter brought up the idea, she told me about the warm and gentle character of the cats…
Mum , you will love them….
In the meanwhile, I brought a second ragdoll home, Miss Qvinny, a soulmate for Parker James
They get along very well, so whenever we go out for a couple of hours, they can rely on each other and never feel alone…. They play together and clean each other for hours, and when my boyfriend falls asleep on the couch, they lay with him almost in the same position, cute to see…
Although they lose their hair at the moment and make sure we have to clean the house every day, they make it up to us with cuddles and kisses.
I am in love with ragdolls, if I had the chance, I would have a 100 of them!
Once they’re in your house…. They are in your heart!!!!

I’m so sorry he had such a health challenge as a kitten! Glad he’s healthy now, though! He certainly brings a lot of love and light into your home.
