Old Ragdoll Cat Meow

My parents’ 12-year old Ragdoll cat, Murphy, reminds me so much of my Rags as he got older.  Murphy, however, has always been a talker.  My Rags wasn’t much of a talker until he got to be an old man.  But what I mean is that Murphy will talk back to you, like my Rags would – and when he talks back to me he meows as if he’s saying, “Geez, lady, I’m smarter than this.”

My Charlie meows quite a bit too, of course!

Here’s a video I captured a few months ago of Murphy’s older cat meows – while he is waiting for me to give him treats.  Have you subscribed to our YouTube yet?  Join 20,000+ cat lovers and watch our videos like this one as soon as they are loaded.

Wonderful post, Jenny! I lurve the conversation you and Sweet Teresa had, too! That is so cool about having your past kittehs visit you in your dreams. I’ve had a few dreams of my Sweet Sora Girl (our Desert Lynx girl who passed in December 2012) and cherish her memory so much! 🙂 <3

Miss PSB doesn't talk as much as Charlie or Murphy or Miss Illaria or Miss Gracie but she has her moments where she talks with her daddy and she walks up and down the hallway letting us know she is awake and ready for food if she thinks we have been in bed too long. I talk to her all the time and her beautiful eyes widen and watch me so closely…it's as if she understands everything. She's a super good listener! 🙂

Lurved the video of Murphy chatting with you! So adorable!!!

Big hugs & lots of love!

    Patti & Miss Pink Sugarbelle 🙂 <3

That is so wonderful. Yes, my 2 heart cats, Angel and Benjamin, have visited me in my dreams too. Think they do it to ease our pain since they are no longer here on earth. Gives us the opportunity to be with them again until the wonderful day when we can all be together with them in Heaven. They may be gone from earth physically, but are definitely still very present in our hearts and part of our soul forever.❤

Oh, how adorable! Love those talks we have with our kitties. Miss Illaria Rose Peabody really talks it up like she’s really telling me off when I bring out her food. So funny! And, Gracie talks when she wants “kitty-kats,” her favorite treats as she is doing right MEOW! Thanks so much for sharing. Murphy (Beau) is precious and so was Rags!♥♥♥

Thanks, Teresa – I wish I had Rags talking to me like this on video…or my brother, Marsh. Marsh could get Rags to talk and talk. Oh man, I hope I dream about that -I had forgotten about that until just now and so enjoyed watching their conversations. Marsh called Rags, “Oh my muffins!” Ha.

Awe, such wonderful memories of your brother and Rags talking. Wishing you many wonderful dreams of Rags talking to him and to you too. Bet those were some deep and sweet conversations! ❤

Does that happen to you? I often get to relive thing in my dreams – Rags visits my dreams often. I got to hold him in my dream about 2 weeks ago and I loved it.
