Necoichi Purrfection Neat & Easy Cat Hair Pet Hair Remover Product Review
As many of you know, we have previously reviewed the Floppycats’ beloved Necoichi cat scratcher bowl which is not only a favorite of my cats, but also of many readers’ cats.
So when they reached out asking if I would be interested in reviewing their Necoichi Purrfection Neat & Easy Cat Hair Pet Hair Remover and their Necoichi Portable cat cage, of coure, I was game.
The Necoichi Purrfection pet hair remover is designed to be a tool that lets you pick up fur and lint without needing to keep buying sticky refills. It’s a small roller that uses a textured microfiber pad to get deeper into fabrics, gathering up more pet fur than a flat sticky roller would – as well as picking up any dust and lint along the way. It’s a tool that can be reused without replacing parts, and should be simple to empty too.
Necoichi is a Japanese manufacturer of various cat accessories and products. They’re established as a brand that makes good quality items, as shown by the high number of positive reviews on Amazon.
The main benefits of the Necoichi Purrfection Pet Hair Remover
One of the main benefits given for buying the Necoichi pet hair remover is that it is designed to effectively trap fur and lint. It has a textured microfiber roller which digs into fabrics as you roll it over your sofa, carpet or other surfaces. This helps to loosen and then grab the pet hair that has become embedded, gripping it tightly.
Which leads to the next benefit – the ease of cleaning. Once the roller has picked up the lint, it deposits it in the back compartment of the handheld tool. This keeps the roller clean and ready to keep working and also makes it really easy to empty once you’ve finished a surface.
Because it uses a microfiber roller, there’s no need for sticky pads. This means you don’t need to keep buying replacements parts for the roller to keep working. Buy it once and it should work effectively without swapping anything.
This isn’t just convenient – it’s also more eco-friendly. Because you’re not buying more sticky refills you’re saving on waste, since there’s nothing to keep adding to the trash beyond the fur and lint you’re collecting, and you don’t need to keep having new sticky pads shipped to your home, cutting down on packaging and fuel costs.
Finally, the tool is small, which is ideal for getting into hard-to-reach areas where your cat may have deposited fur and fluff that larger cleaning items can’t reach. It’s not tiny – you won’t need to empty it every 30 seconds – but the compact design reaches nooks and crannies and should keep your whole home fur-free.
How to use the Necoichi Purrfection Pet Hair Remover
Using the Necoichi Purrfection pet hair remover is really easy. It’s good to go once it arrives, so start by checking the switch on the back of the tool. Make sure that the switch is flipped to the side that you want to roll towards. So if you’re more comfortable rolling left-to-right, the switch should be on the right. If right-to-left is better for you, the switch needs to be on the left.
Then, just roll tool over the surface. It works most effectively when you roll in one consistent direction, lifting it between strokes – don’t go back and forth over an area. Simply use the roller on surfaces and the hair and dust is collected in the chamber. It has a lever that you can flip depending on whether you’re rolling from left to right, or right to left. You can then empty the chamber into the garbage when full, ready to use again.
Once you’ve finished, flick the switch a few times in either direction to loosen the lint and fur that has been gathered, and slide back the window to easily dispose of everything collected in the trash.

I didn’t quite use it correctly in the unboxing video, but got the hang of it in the review video below.
Overall, I think this is a great tool. As I mentioned in the review video, I would prefer not to have to move the lever back and forth to remove the pet hair – but it’s not too bad. It does a nice job over all.
And as I found out in the review process, many readers already have this handy dandy tool in their pet hair removal toolbox.
