The best couple and the best cattery in Massachusetts
February of 2015 my Sugarbaby, a black domestic I had as a loyal companion for 16 years, died due to vet error. She had a nail that went into the pad of her foot and she started to limp. I took her to the Vet . He was away on vacation so the vet on call took the nail out sending her home after being asked if she didn’t need antibiotics? No she is fine now. Well she wasn’t in the end when my vet came home 3 days later she had more nail he left in and infection set in . They needed to do surgery and despite all efforts she died within a week .
I cried everyday for 3 weeks and my husband Artie was told Ragdolls were a great breed so he looked up Ragdoll breeders and called Bette and Rick Willette . They saw us immediately. April 4/2015 Madeline Simone a beautiful blue mitted Ragdoll and the Stud Jaques Phillip had there beautiful babies . When I was able to pick my fur baby . It wasn’t hard . Cheri walked right out in front of her brothers and sisters and sat there like pick me! And I did.
She came home at 12 weeks with a big hug and kiss from Bette and a gift crocheted bed from auntiekimscatbeds like they are used to while they grow at the cattery. There is food and toys also . While she was there we got weekly videos and pictures . Cheri is laid back, a little shy, soft as silk fur and her way of showing she loves you is a little nip of my nose and now at 2 yrs April 14, she likes to treat me like her kitten licks my cheeks eye lids forehead with her sand paper tongue and still nip on the nose.
My mum’s name was Cherreine so I called her Cheri after mum . Cheri ate Royal Canin kitten food and dry food for 1 1/2 yrs . Now she has chicken in gravy fancy feast and fancy feast dry . She is 10 pounds.
She loves her skineez mice, little dotted balls and banana. We have two cat trees Cheri and her brother love the top of the trees . Bird watching is a favorite . We got her brother Sir Greyson Ty 6 months after her . They do laps around the house quite often!
They are a joy in my life and Arties. They gave me two more reasons to give all my love away happily.
Let me mention Willetteragdol cattery a little more . They have no cages . Mothers pick where they deliver. They have many fur babies queens stud and a Belgium Malinois dog . And many little fur baby kittens. They all are given loving attention everyday. The home is spotless its cleaned everyday. The fur babies are well fed . They test for diseases.
They are the only one that has a licensed vet who examines them shortly after birth and again before they are given shots. They never cut corners. They get shots and are spayed and neutered before they leave. This is a beautiful place to receive your fur baby . I love my Mon Cheri Amore and her brother Sir Greyson Ty so much . Ragdolls are the BEST. Eh and you’ll never go into the bathroom alone again ha ha . ( they follow you ) .

Now when Illaria sees me walk toward that door, she runs to me and lifts up so I can pick her up so she can sit on my lap! Haha! ♥️

(I always have a 10 lb boy on my lap in the bathroom, too! LOL)
One of my babies is also from Willettragdols, and I must state that they are a wonderful, ethical, breeding program. Much love and care goes into every one of their kitties and it shows on your lovely babies, Beverly. I got my Ragdolls after losing a beloved older girl due to cancer so I share your pain of losing Sugarbaby. Our sweet Raggies help us heal and love again.

It’s always so sad to hear a vet error story- every owners worse nightmare and I’m so sorry it happened to you and your Sugarbaby.
Cheri is just beautiful. Her blue eyes really pop against that dark face. Her brother is doll, too. I bet they keep you on your toes.
Your comment about never going to the bathroom alone again is so true. I sometimes find myself “sneaking” in there so I don’t have a cat in my lap when I’m only going to be in there for a few seconds. But, it rarely works.

The pics of your girl are sooo wonderful! She is TRULY GORGEOUS and her brother is also VERY HANDSOME (too pretty to be a boy!)! There blue eyes just POP so brilliantly! LURVE THEM!
