**Editor’s Note: As many of you know, I am not a fan of dry food being the main diet for any cat.  Please read why on catinfo.org.  However, I decided to go ahead with this giveaway because while it’s not the ideal diet, it sometimes has to be the diet the cat is fed for a multitude of reasons.

Up for grabs this month is the WOpet Automatic Pet Feeder Food Dispenser.

  1. With both dogs and cats, it can be hard keeping the dogs out of the cats’ food. I’m working on fixing up a spare bedroom into a TV/sitting room and am going to be catifying it as much as I can. I’d love this feeder that I could put on one of the shelf units I’m going to be putting in. The cats could reach it and it would keep the dogs out of their food. I would also not have to worry about them having an empty dish.

  2. I normally feed wet and dry food to our cats but the two cats that we now have will not eat wet food. One of them used to but he suddenly quit eating it. I have never liked feeding just dry and one of our cats that we recently lost got diabetes from only eating dry food because she gained so much weight from it. She didn’t pass way from the diabetes and had actually went into remission from it but had a mass on her intestine which spread. Anyway, I wish the two cats we still have would eat wet food but one of them has never had it and I have offered it to her but she turns her nose up at it. I have no idea why my boy cat stopped eating wet food because he has eaten it for the last 5 years but now turns his nose up at it. I think he mostly ate it because his sister did (he loves his kibble) and after we lost her (different cat than the other one we lost), he stopped eating it. He was always the cat that did whatever his sister did so I guess when she passed away, he decided he would do his own thing.
