Inkie – Ragdoll of the Week

Hello my name is Inkie and I am 14 months old. I was born on the 14th August 2010 and came to my new forever loving home on the 17th November 2010. My new mummy became interested in Ragdolls when she sadly lost my predecessor and she researched into adopting a new furry friend and came across us beautiful Ragdolls. Her heart was set then on getting a Ragdoll and that’s when she found me! I came from a litter of 3, two girls and a boy. My brother and sister were rehomed with other families.

I have had so much fun growing over the last 14 months and I have blossomed into a beautiful, playful, loving little character and so many people have fallen in love with me. I have some little quirky things about me and one of them is I like to growl like a puppy when the doorbell goes. I love to steal my mummy’s favourite chocolate Cadbury’s Creme Eggs and I will roll them around and bat them around on the floor until they are very nearly non edible :o)

I love playing out in the garden and chasing the bee’s and watching the birds, and climbing all over the flowers in the flowerbeds, though I haven’t yet learnt that bumble bee’s sting you and despite being stung in the paw and a trip to the vets I still haven’t learnt that lesson! I have so many toys to play with. My mummy quite often goes out and comes back with a new toy for me. I am very well and truly spoilt!! I have to say though my ultimate favourite toy has to

be the one and only ‘Da Bird’ I can play with this for hours on end and we have gone through a fair few replacement heads now. Every night when my mummy gets into bed and after I have had my night time treats I will get the Da Bird from the lounge and carry it all the way to my mummy and plonk it on top of her so she will whizz it round in the air for me. It’s so fun chasing it and has to be the best toy invented. I think my other favourite toys have to be from the Catit range, especially the Speed Circuit with the flashing ball whizzing round the track. Also I love the play cubes. I quite often sleep in mine but I play with it just as much and usually when I have caught my prize that is the place I will take it. I also love carrying balls around in my mouth and me and my mummy play ‘Fetch’ and playing in cardboard boxes too!

I love water especially when it is dripping from a tap and I like to flick it everywhere with my little paws. My mummy has a friend who lives in America (we live in the UK) and she has a really cute kitty kat too and we have become pen pals or as we call it kittypals and we often send each other toys and treats in the post.

I also have my own blog page and while I haven’t updated it for a little while now you can find out some more things about me at http://inkie-edwards.blogspot.com/
