  1. And a very HAPPY 4TH of July to you and your family, Jenny, and all the Floppycatters in the USA. 🙂 <3 And a very special THANK YOU to Sweet Peg for that marvelous picture (she takes the best pics, doesn't she? And she bred the most beautiful kittens ever!)! 🙂 <3

Big hugs & lots of love!

  2. Thank you so much Jenny! Sending you and your wonderful family lots of love and wishes that you had a safe and happy holiday too! They did fireworks next door and it was extremely loud. They tested them several days ago and poor Illaria almost lost her mind in fear, panting and running aimlessly here and there. I caught her and held her under a blanket until it passed. Today, I found the calming jacket that had been put away for several years and put it on her before it began. Grace and Mari weren’t bothered by the loud noise. After Illaria had her jacket on, she wasn’t bothered by it either. Every now and then, I put my hand down on her back to reassure her that we were “OK” and it worked like a charm. That jacket really worked! Feel so bad for my two outside ferals and how it must have scared them senseless! Wish people would consider the poor animals around them before they do things like this in an area that is not meant for that kind of thing. Hope everyone had a safe holiday!♥

    1. oh man, i didn’t think of outside kitties – yes, that must be miserable for them. i always think when a bunch of fireworks are going off that it must sound like it did in Afghanistan or something. that’s what i think of.

i wish i would have reviewed a thundershirt years ago – i should have…glad it works for her!
