GO! NATURAL Chicken & Vegetable – Floppycats.com Product Review

As I mentioned two weeks ago when we reviewed Go Natural FRESHWATER TROUT CANNED FORMULA, we were given two flavors to try.  Their FRESHWATER TROUT CANNED FORMULA and their Chicken & Vegetable formula.

We gave the Freshwater Trout a go first and this week tried the Chicken & Vegetable formula.

I was not aware that the Chicken & Vegetable formula was not grain free.  Had I known that, I would not have tried it!  Nonetheless, any wet food is better for a kitty than dry food is…and so we tried it.

We = Caymus, Murphy, Trigg, and Charlie.  Only one kitty liked it and at first sniff, he didn’t go for it.  You guessed it, it was Caymus.  He’s awesome – for so many reasons!

Anyway, back to Chicken & Vegetable.  Here are a list of the ingredients:

Chicken, Chicken Broth, Salmon, Chicken Liver, Ground Brown Rice, Carrots, Potatoes, Dried Egg White, Natural Flavor, Apples, Guar Gum, Tricalcium Phosphate, Sea Salt, Potassium Chloride, Cranberry Meal, Flaxseed Meal, Minerals (iron amino acid chelate, zinc amino acid chelate, cobalt amino acid chelate, copper amino acid chelate, manganese amino acid chelate, sodium selenite, potassium iodide), Carrageenan, Dried Kelp, Vitamins (vit.E, A, B12, D3 supplements, thiamine mononitrate, biotin, riboflavin supplement), Choline Chloride, Sunflower Oil, Taurine, Beta Carotene, Yucca Schidigera Extract.

It’s important to note that Go! Natural does make a Grain Free Chicken,Turkey and Duck Canned Cat Food.  And the Go Natural FRESHWATER TROUT CANNED FORMULA that we covered two weeks ago, is also grain free.  So don’t be discouraged by this review, as this company does make grain free foods for kitties.

And really this food is FANTASTIC compared to the likes of Whiskas, Fancy Feast, etc.
