Freeze Dried Cat Treats: Watch Ragdoll Cats Chomp Down on Whole Life Pet Treats

Last Updated on July 8, 2021 by Jenny

If you’ve been around for awhile, then you are very familiar with Charlie’s obsession with Whole Life Pet treats – better known as “Cheats” in our house.  Here’s a recent video I took of my Ragdoll cats, Charlie and Trigg, chomping down on some Whole Life treats after we came inside (I let my cats outside in my fenced in backyard every day – and I am out there with them until they want to come inside.  One of the ways to entice them to come in is to shake a bag of “cheats” or just mention the word “cheats”).

Grab some Whole Life Pet Treats on Amazon to try out.

Do you give your kitty treats?  What kind of treats and why?

Whole Life Chicken treats are a staple at our house. Hunter loves to dig them out of the Cat Amazing puzzle box. Emily prefers to have them served to her and does love the crumbs sprinkled over canned food. I pour the crumbs from the bottom of the bag into a pyrex cup and have them on the counter ready to sprinkle. Never thought of the Roomba as a tool to pick up the dust- what a great thing! They do leave a mess and, just like Trigg and Charlie, if I serve them in a bowl, they get dragged out and eaten on the floor!

how’s your cat amazing toy holding up? have you ever had to replace it?

ha ha ha – love that yours do the same as Charlie and Trigg. I gave Salmon treats to Caymus and Murphy the other night and then told my mom the next day and she goes, “oh yes, i saw the mess”.

I’ve replaced it once. Emily tends to just rip at the holes to make it easier to get the treats, and completely destroyed the first box, but has lost interest in it lately. Hunter is very graceful and good at gently guiding the treats out of the holes. He loves all food puzzles. Especially his Kong, which we call the “weeble wobble”. Unfortunately, I have to use junky treats in that!

We LOVE love these “treats”. We include them in our lunch time meal. Feeding my baby something I know is good for them is nice. We saw the recommendation for them a year ago. Now they are a staple treat in our house.
    Happy Kitty and mom

These treats, “kitty-katz”, are ones that Gracie loves and obsesses about so much that I have to protect in a lock in lock plastic box so she can’t chew her way in! That box has all kinds of little teeth marks on it. If left unattended for even a moment when the bag comes, she will grab the entire thing and run away with it and then break in! She did that once when I forgot and left them out! Fortunately, it is the kind of treat that is healthy, so I just laughed! They love all Whole Life products. It’s great to know that they are getting treats that are pure and safe.

Wonderful video and post, Jenny! Just adore how both of your boys went for the absolutely largest piece first!!! lol Seeing them nomming on those treats is just adorable!! Lurve the noises Chiggy made. I will have to give these another shot using the sample packet available on Amazon that you suggested via your YouTube comment.

Currently, the only treat that our girl (Miss PSB) has enjoyed and scarfs down with pure enjoyment (with a predatory gleam in her gorgeous blue eyes) is the Redbarn Grain-Free treats (chicken or turkey).

Big hugs & lots of love!
