Finley is an 8-month-old seal bicolor Ragdoll. Like some of the others on this website she is also from Soulmate Ragdolls in Salisbury, NC. She has a very unique smudge marking on her nose and a quite the personality. The name Finley just seemed to fit her the best.
After losing a kitten to kidney failure, I decided to research different cat breeds because I desperately wanted a new kitten. As I was researching I began to fall in love with the ragdoll breed and knew that that was the breed for me. I e-mailed many breeders around where I live, but after talking with the owner of Soulmate Ragdolls I knew that I wanted a kitten from her. After
corresponding through e-mail I eventually got a picture of a tiny 1-week-old kitten that would later come home with me. I anxiously awaited pictures and updates as Finley grew. In November my mom and I made the 5-hour trip to pick up her up and I was so excited to finally be bringing her home. I would highly recommend this breeder to anyone!
Finley quickly stole my heart and everyday makes me laugh and smile. She is great with all other animals and never meets a stranger. She can be very mischievous, but you can hardly get mad at her because she is so funny. She follows me all around and loves to play with toys. Even though she has a whole toy box some of her favorite toys are stuff she finds around the house. She is constantly trying to chew pens/pencils while I do school work, snatch empty water bottles or cups that she can push and carry around, and play with paper shopping bags she can hop in. Finley hates to be left alone and even if you just shut her out of a room she will sit outside the door crying and meowing as loud as she can. She also really loves water and will wait at the sink faucets or shower door.
I’ve included a photo of Finley is her sleeping in her favorite cat sleeping sack. She loves it and she makes a kneading action with her paws while she falls asleep in it.
