Find a Ragdoll Cat Breeder

Caymus Seal Mitted Ragdoll

Because there are so many different organizations out there, it can be difficult to find a Ragdoll cat breeder.

Probably one of the best ways to start your search for Ragdoll Cats Breeder is through the Internet. That is, of course, unless you have a recommendation of a Ragdoll breeder. If you do, then please share your recommendation with Floppycats.com by leaving a comment below or by contacting us.

There are professional feline organizations where you can search for your next Ragdoll Breeder:

The International Cat Association
http://www.tica.org/

Cat Fancier’s Association
http://www.cfa.org/

The Ragdoll Fanciers Club International
http://www.rfci.org/

Ragdoll Fanciers Worldwide Club
http://rfwclub.org/

Ragdoll Breed Club
http://www.ragdollbreedclub.org/

You’ll want to consider whether or not the kitten you are going to adopt is going to be a show kitty. If you’d like to have a show kitty, then you’ll want to consider adopting from a breeder who is registered for TICA (The International Cat Association) and/or for CFA (Cat Fancier’s Association).

Other options for finding Ragdoll Breeders:

www.ragdoll-cats.us Offers a list of Ragdoll breeders by state and country. This list appears to be compiled by the website administrator.

www.catteryrow.com Cattery Row lists Ragdoll Breeders by their cattery name, gives human breeder’s name and their phone and email address. The cattery name is clickable and will redirect you to the breeder’s website. Breeders pay between $10-$55 to be listed on this site.

  1. You show three Ragdoll breeders in Maine. Two are no longer websites and the first one doesn’t lead any where when clicked… so I guess this page is kind of a joke

    1. Moreyn,

Ahh…an interesting approach to someone that works hard on a website that is purely informational. My site has over 222 pages and this is my hobby – and I love it. I think a kinder approach would have been to let me know that two of the websites are no longer working. My intention in referring you to this page was to provide you with the links to the other websites where breeders are registered:

      The International Cat Association
      http://www.tica.org/

      Cat Fancier’s Association
      http://www.cfa.org/

      The Ragdoll Fanciers Club International
      http://www.rfci.org/

      Ragdoll Fanciers Worldwide Club
      http://rfwclub.org/

      Ragdoll Breed Club
      http://www.ragdollbreedclub.org/

From there – you will be able to do searches for breeders in the state of Maine.
      Good luck!

  2. Hi,
I am a 59 year old cat lover… overthe years Ihave had several rescued cats. Tn the past month I have lost 2 of my girls, they were both with me since 1998… over the years I have admiredthe seal point long haired cats, but always was rescueing an animal left on the dirt road we live on… overthe past d8 years we have not had any abandoned kitties. I am very upset about he loss of my 2 girls… I would really like the opportunity to own a ragdoll female, and would be a good candidate for a rescue…. or a new kitten…. asthis may be the last cat I own I am thinking i can wait till theright one comes along…. jow can I get on a rescue list to be notivfied when you get a possible cat for me to view???

    1. Hi Elaine,

Where are you located? There is not one Ragdoll cat Rescue – but I do post them regularly on Facebook.

I am sorry about your two girls – it’s horrible to lose them especially when you’ve been together so long!

      Jenny
