Cats can sometimes experience whisker fatigue when their whiskers are forced to contact harsh angles. Dr. Catsby’s Food Bowl is designed to remedy that during feeding time – it has a special gentle curve shape which won’t aggravate your kitty while they eat.

It’s also made from stainless steel, which is much better than plastics for resisting the bacteria that can cause feline acne. The shape of the bowl is also designed to fit a full day of food, which can help to prevent overeating.

The bowl is modern and, because it’s made from stainless steel, it’s easy to clean – you can rinse it without food sticking to it, and it’s also dishwasher-safe. To help you pick it up to wash it, there’s a finger-hole cut out on one side, so you don’t need to worry about it being flush to the floor.

To help prevent the lightweight bowl from sliding around on the floor while your cat eats, it comes with a food-grade silicone rubber mat, which it perfectly fits into. This will create more friction with the floor, so your kitty isn’t chasing the bowl around when trying to enjoy lunch. The mat isn’t safe for the dishwasher but can be rinsed.

The bowl is designed to be used with both wet and dry foods, although cats may take a little longer to adjust to eating stickier wet foods with the new shape.
