Charlie, a seal mitted Ragdoll with an hourglass blaze, will be a year old on July 23rd. He is crazy bored all the time, so I try to keep him entertained. If I am not careful, when I open my front door, he will jet out and then just start running. Not the typcial slinky cat that we all know. He fears nothing! It actually scares the living daylights out of me because he just runs whenever he gets outside and if there is nothing to stop him, he keeps going. I fear he’ll be hit by a car, so I have to be really careful.
We are going to my parents’ lake house for the Fourth of July, so I wanted to be sure that he knew how to swim before we went.
I first experimented with having a cat swim with Rags, another one of my seal mitted Ragdolls. Here’s a video of him swimming on his 19th birthday. He was a great swimmer, as you can tell. Didn’t necessarily care for it, but was totally fine doing it:
Here are the videos of Charlie’s first swimming experience:
Does your kitty swim? We’d love it if you would send us a photo of your kitty swimming!
