CatGeeks ComfyCat Cave Felted Cat Cave Product Review
When CatGeeks emailed me to see if we would be interested in reviewing their new big felted cat cave, I was immediately interested based on Trigg’s reaction to another felted cat cave we had reviewed.
One thing I have learned about reviewing cat beds is that it can be all about placement. In other words, if the bed is not in the right place, the cats won’t sleep in it. So sometimes it is not about the bed at all, but rather where you have put the bed. If you have a cat bed that your cat is not using, try moving it to a few different spots to see if your kitty will be more receptive to sleeping in it in a different spot: Beds for Cats – Sometimes It’s All About Placement
The ComfyCat Cave is made of 100% New Zealand sheep wool and is then handcrafted in Nepal. The bed can only be hand washed in cold water and then air dried – so it can’t be put through the washing machine. I found the best way to clean it was to run the Lilly Brush BFF over it.
The CatGeeks ComfyCat Cave can fit cats up to 20 lbs and at least two cats if they weigh less than that combined. Both Trigg and Charlie fit easily in the cave, with plenty of room to spare.
As you can see from the photos, you can use the bed as a cave, or collapse it down to create an open concept bed. Sometimes Trigg does this himself while playing on it.
Both cats have used the bed to sleep in. Trigg uses it more than Charlie, but I was surprised one morning to find Charlie inside of it.
I like the quality of this bed and really love that they have a warranty, in case your kitty ends up not using it.
CatGeeks ComfyCat Cave Warranty
A cat bed with a warranty? How cool is that? As their info card that comes with the bed states, “We understand that cats have constantly changing needs and tastes and guarantee the ComfyCat Cave under a 6-month “Worry-Free” warranty. Under the conditions of the warranty, we will provide full refund or replacement of the ComfyCat Cave if, after 6 months from the date of purchase, your cat no longer likes the ComfyCat Cave provided that the cave remains in condition of typical wear.”

We received the CatGeeks ComfyCat Cave for review from the manufacturer and also asked that they pay a small review fee. Receiving the free product and the review fee did not influence this honest post.
