Cat Sculptures from Legos

Circulating on Facebook is a link to Hong-Kong based company JEKCA that is selling cat sculptures made from building blocks like Legos – but you don’t buy them built – you buy them as a set to build!  Having young nieces and nephews, I feel like I am always around Legos and didn’t realize how much I missed putting them together.

How fun is this?

What do you think of these Legos-like cat sculptures?  Would you want one or want to gift it to someone?  They range from $69-$87.

  1. Wonderful post, Jenny! How SUPER PAWESOME is THIS?!?!?! WOW! LURVE IT!!!! I have tons of experience with Legos from when my son was a child. First thing he built out of legos was a gun…not kidding. Hilarious! We had several sets (space stations and the like) that we built together. It is so much fun! I totally agree with Teresa that a review of one of these sets would be AMAZING!!!! What a great activity to do on your own or with your children or grandchildren or nieces/nephews! 🙂 <3

Does anyone else think this is expensive, though? (Or is it just me?) 🙂

Big hugs & lots of love!

Oh my gosh! These are AMAZING! Never.seen anything like that! Is it hard to put together? I’ve never played with Legos, but tho k it would be a great stress reliever for sure. They are very beautiful too! Yes, I would definitely Italy want to buy this and/or give it as a gift. Jenny, are you going to get one and do a review of it? Hope you do!

    1. I’ve requested one for review – have not heard anything back.

Be careful. These aren’t Legos made in Denmark and don’t even have the same shaped pieces. My grandson is going to get one to put together for me for my birthday. He is still interested in Legos Star Wars.
    Thanks,
    Jeanne

    1. That’s correct – they aren’t Legos – but are building blocks like Legos. And I’m pretty sure the majority of Legos aren’t made in Denmark, even if the company is based there.
