Have I ever told you guys how much I love our readers? I do. Without you guys, I couldn’t sustain my enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity.
I always wanted a community of people to talk and discuss cat things and when readers reach out needing help or offering tips/advice, I really love it. You keep me engaged and challenged – two things that my brain needs – so THANK YOU!
Recently, a blind reader (the site can be dictated to someone who is blind) reached out to me looking for a cat nail clipper that would be great for a blind person. She said that she already asks too much of her husband and thought maybe nail trimming was something she could take care of.
I thought about it for a minute and then realized that the Zen Clippers we reviewed awhile back would be perfect for a blind person – they would help her be able to cut the nails without the worry of cutting the kitty’s quick. Also, these are great because there’s no way to cut your finger (I’ve tried).
And I have to admit that I have been using them more and more. I love the efficiency of them and how well they cut. I also learned that you can send them in for sharpening.
This Cutco knife and Tweezerman lover, loves anything you can send in for sharpening! I love products that last and are designed to last and provide the extra bonus of sharpening!
One of the very fun things about having our cat product reviews on YouTube and online months or years later is that I get this extra feedback – especially when you guys buy the product and use it on your cats.
You might try something with the product that I didn’t or might ask me a question about a product I had never considered. This is fun and exciting to me – so keep the questions coming.
Anyway, the Zen Clippers aren’t only for blind people – certainly not – they are also great for seeing people…and those who have magnification problems as they age. I have included our review video below, in case you missed it the first time.
The only slightly tricky thing about the Zen Clippers is that you have to know which size to order based on the size of your pet’s claw. We were given the Large size to review – they ended up being perfect for my Ragdoll cats.
Alternatively, you can download and print out the Zen Clipper Sizing Chart.
Have you tried the Zen Clippers?
