Cat Litter Scoop with a Scraper: Scrape and Scoop Cat Litter Scoop Unboxing Video

Last Updated on July 8, 2021 by Jenny

Here’s a product that came to our attention in a very different way.  The owner/creator left a message on our YouTube video of our It’s THE Scoop! Review and YouTube had marked the comment as SPAM.  I looked at the URL of the link posted with the comment and was curious enough to click on through.  So, I did.  I then discovered WeCATS Corp – a non-for-profit organization trying to help feral cats and selling what-looked-to-be a very cool litter scoop in the process.

All of you know, I am fiercely loyal to my love of the Litter-Lifter scoop – and this Scrape and Scoop from WeCATS has very similar qualities to the Litter-Lifter – so I am excited to try it out.  My parents have a very hard time with pee clumps sticking to the side of their litterboxes – so I knew my mom would “dig” the scraper. I am excited for her to try it out.

Here’s our Scrape and Scoop unboxing video:

You can buy the kitty litter scoop with scraper directly from WeCATS for $10.99 until 6/30/17. After the end of June, it will be $12.99.

Wonderful product arrival post & video, Jenny! I am so eager for the final product review on this one and I really enjoy getting these reviews where you, your mom and your sister product test! I, too, am VERY PASSIONATE about My Litter Lifter! However, I am intrigued with the scraper tool, too. Currently, I use my Litter Lifter to jab down the side between the “pee clump” and the side of the litter box to separate that clump from the litter box for scooping. 95% of all of Miss PSB’s “pee clumps” adhere to the side of the litter box. But the Litter Lifter does a great job when I invert it and jab it downwards to scrape. But the fact that they include a separate scraping tool is really impressive as that really tells me they understand what an owner has to go through to scoop the litter boxes! 🙂

Looking forward to the final product review on this one!

Big hugs & lots of love!

Awww, I see! I have only had one break so far but I didn’t think it was related to me using it as a scraper. It broke on the side where one of the tines separates from the outside rectangle. Hmmmmm. Very interesting. 🙂 <3

        • Jenny says:

Yes, mine have broken there too – from using it as a scraper – so really it’s not the scoop’s fault. ha ha. but it would be cool to have a scooper and scraper in one – maybe that’s the next invention!

      • Patti Johnson says:

Absolutely! I’m pretty rough when using my Litter Lifter. I really dig into the litter with gusto! I figured my rough usage caused that break but I still just keep a spare on hand as even with my Go For The Gusto Litter Box Scooping Technique the Litter Lifter still performs better than any other scoop I’ve used. It would be super cool to have a separate scraping tool, too! (But then that’s one more thing to clean…gah!) 🙂 <3
