Canvas People Canvas Print Product Review
In July, I received an email asking if I would review a Canvas People print. We emailed back and forth for some time before we agreed on how to move forward with a review…and also, I had to figure out which photo to use, which size canvas print to order, etc. Finally, I ordered a canvas print of my sister’s cat, Addie, for my sister’s bathroom.
Canvas People Canvas Print Ordering Process
The ordering process was pretty easy and straight forward.

One thing they told me to keep in mind for the size you desire that we print at a DPI of 150 for the best clarity. This means that for every printed inch, there should be at least 150 pixels from which to work with.
For example, an 8×10 print would need to be printed from an image that has a resolution of 1200×1500 (8×150=1200 & 10×150=1500). I explain that in the ordering process video above as well.
I was really pleased with the Canvas People experience – from ordering to time receiving product to the actual product.
Here are some of the benefits of the canvas prints from Canvas People:
- They use eco-friendly inks that are of high quality so that you get sharp photogenic reproduction
- The canvas prints are designed to be fade resistant and durable
- The canvas’ stretcher bars are made from renewable forest wood
- There are pre-installed hanging hook for easy installation – we did not have this with a previous canvas print we rec’d and it was somewhat of a pain to figure out how to install their hooking mechanism, there was an extra charge for it as well.
- There are pre-installed rubber bumpers protect your walls and keep canvases straight
As you may recall, we previously reviewed a canvas print from another company – and while that canvas print turned out well, it did not have a hanger hook and did not have rubber bumpers. I think those two things that Canvas People offers is huge.
Below is our canvas discount reviews video – my sister is very pleased about how her photo of Addie turned out on canvas. We have also already ordered a print of Ash from Canvas People’s sister company, Snapbox, to hang next to it!
I think these canvas prints are really neat – there are so many things you could get printed on canvas and then hang a collage of photos or more. They also make great gifts for friends. My sister’s boyfriend is from Northern Ireland, but lives in the United States with my sister. My sister had taken a photo of the backyard of her fiance’s backyard. My dad took the photo made it into a canvas print and gave it to them as a present to hang in their home. My sister said her fiance teared up when he saw it. They just make really thoughtful, fun gifts that someone isn’t expecting.
