BONUS April 2021 Giveaway: FUKUMARU Mounted Cat Climbing Wall Shelf
The FUKUMARU brand might ring a bell because when Caymus was in his final stages of his renal disease, he loved to lay in their cardboard box – day in and day out.
So I wrote them around that time, and they generously offered to do a giveaway on the site.
Since then they have done a few more giveaways and here’s a new one! Up for grabs this month is the FUKUMARU Mounted Cat Climbing Wall Shelf.
The FUKUMARU Cat Climbing Shelf is a set of four floating steps, designed for cats, that fixes to an interior wall. It is made for cats who enjoy jumping and climbing, providing them with an elevated, practical play space.
It can be used on its own, in combination with existing shelving, or with other FUKUMARU products, to create a stimulating and comfortable play area for your cat. Unlike many other cat steps, these are designed specifically to be mounted on a wall to save space and give you more flexibility in placement.
The neutral pale wood and rope design makes it easy to match with most décor. It won’t look out of place in a modern home, and because it’s space-saving it won’t matter if your house is on the smaller side too.
The solid wood steps are wrapped in twine to give your cat something to grip onto. They also function as a scratching post, letting your cat keep their claws in shape. It should give your cat somewhere to exercise, keep them entertained, and something to claw other than your furniture.
The climbing shelf is made from all-natural materials. The steps themselves are solid rubber wood, which is lightweight and tougher than the more commonly used plywood. They are wrapped in jute twine, which is a durable, anti-static, and completely biodegradable material harvested from the highly sustainable jute plant. It’s hard-wearing, but soft enough to cushion your cat’s landing.
It comes with everything you need to assemble and mount it, along with step-by-step instructions to follow.
