Blackhole Large Cardboard Paper Cat Bed Nest Product Review

As many of you know, I love the Blackhole cat litter mat and have ranted and raved about it for years.  I also quite like the Blackhole company.  So when I am grabbing a link to their product to send to a reader as a suggestion, I often go to see if they have something new.

Several months ago – that happened.  I saw that they had a new Blackhole cardboard pet bed.  It’s made with 100% recycled, biodegradable paper – pressed cardboard paper.  

It interested me because it’s lightweight, chemical-free, affordable and made of pressed cardboard paper – what most cats love.

It has a really smooth concave shape, which my cats are naturally attracted to. It measures 15.75” diameter, 4.33” deep, 17.7” base. I love that it’s made from 100% recycled, biodegradable paper and therefore is fully biodegradable and nontoxic.

The concave shape and smooth surface are inviting for kitties and was for mine.

My cats have been in and out of it – and many readers have reported their kitties loved it immediately.  If your kitty like concave beds and cardboard boxes, then I’d think this one would be a candidate for them.

It’s a pretty darn simple cat bed – but sometimes simple is what no one ever else ever thought of.

As you can see in the photos, it has a cute cat head shape and the color is neutral to blend with any house’s décor.
