February 2022 Anniversary Giveaway: Bergan Turbo Scratcher Cat Toy

Day 5’s giveaway is for the Bergan Turbo Scratcher cat toy! A favorite of Charlie’s since he was a kitten.
A great way to encourage your cat to use a scratching tower or mat is to incorporate a toy. The Bergan Turbo Scratcher does this for you – it’s a combination scratch pad and ball-chasing toy that will naturally help tackle your cat’s claws as they play, which will lead to them using the pad intentionally too.
The whole product is a plastic disc, consisting of a channel around the circumference and a recessed center area. You place the ball into the channel, where it is quite a snug fit (with enough room to be pushed around, but it won’t constantly pop out) and then insert the included scratching pad into the central recess.
When introduced to it, your cat will then start to play with the ball, pushing it around the channel and pouncing on it. As they do, they will be crawling, standing, and jumping on the central pad, and they’ll soon take notice of the satisfying feeling of catching it with their claws, encouraging them to scratch more.
The pad is made from durable cardboard, and can last for a long time depending on how many cats you own and how often you trim their claws. It’s reversible, so once one side has been destroyed you can just remove it, flip it over and keep it going. It’s also replaceable – just order new pads, and they’ll be the perfect fit.
