Our “Ask US Anything” is a series of posts on the site where I share the questions/concerns/ideas that readers have sent in and then the responses from our readers about those questions/concerns/ideas.
Ragdoll Cat Having Horrible Hairballs
Stacey wrote in saying, “Do you have any suggestions for hairball vomiting even after dry food has been eliminated? Henrey has been off dry food for 2 months and we’re seeing more vomiting with fur balls. I comb through his fur once a day with an awesome metal comb,.. I always seem to get a mini sweater so he just naturally does shed a lot- but we’d like to help by giving him something that might help pass these easier. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!”

Ragdoll Loving The Yeowww! Catnip Banana
I know this isn’t an inquiry, per say…but I do get a lot of inquiries about what cat toys, beds, etc. are the best or our favorite. I have tooted my love for the Yeowww! Catnip Banana for some time. Since only 60% of cats respond to catnip, it’s not the perfect cat toy for every cat – however, it is my favorite cat toy. Why? Well, it has sentimental value – my Rags was gifted a Yeowww! Catnip Banana at the age of 15 and it was the only toy he repeatedly returned to to play with. Since then, I have known cat after cat to just adore it. I also like it because it is filled entirely of organic catnip – so if your kitty busts it open, you don’t have to worry about s/he inhaling any fiber material…and more than likely the dried catnip will aid in their digestion. Win-win. There is something about the banana/half moon shape that really gets the kitties going too – they can bite the ends or the end might slightly poke them, provoking a bunny kick or more.
