6 Unique Cardboard Cat Scratchers

We’ve reviewed a lot of cardboard cat scratchers.  I thought it might be fun to put together a post that shows which ones are unique and why.  There are more unique cardboard cat scratchers out there, like those from Miglio Designs and Jumbl.

6 Unique Cardboard Cat Scratchers

  1. Katris Modular Cardboard Cat Scratchers Each Katris piece is $49.95 & FREE Shipping on Amazon.  Based on the game, Tetris, Katris is unique because it can be a cat tree, a bookshelf, a cat scratcher, a coffee table, a cat climbing pole, a shoe rack, the only limitation is your imagination.  See our Katris review video.
  2. Brawny Cat Sleeky Lounge 2015 Limited Edition They sell for $65 plus $9 domestic USA shipping.  It’s unique because at 26” wide by 18” long, this is the largest cardboard cat scratcher available.  See our Brawny Cat Sleeky Lounge 2015 Limited Edition review video.
  3. The Original Scratch Lounge – Worlds Best Cat Scratcher – $21.47 & FREE Shipping on orders over $35 on Amazon.  It’s unique because you can replace the inserts of the scratcher – reducing the costs and because cats love it!  See our The Original Scratch Lounge – Worlds Best Cat Scratcher review video.
  4. The Original Catpods – $76.  It’s unique because it’s a tunnel and is a hardy chunk of cardboard!  Love the pokey holes. See our The Original Catpods review video.
  5. Petstages Snuggle Scratch and Rest – $16.97 & FREE Shipping on orders over $35 on Amazon.  It’s unique because it’s cardboard shaped as a bowl, so it allows the cat to scratch and also snuggle at the same time.  Also, it’s unique because it’s almost too small for Ragdoll cats, yet they seem to enjoy it immensely without concern of the size difference. See our Petstages Snuggle Scratch and Rest review video.
  6. PetFusion Jumbo Cat Scratcher Lounge – $79.95 & FREE Shipping.  It’s unique because it’s huge and allows other kitties to play underneath.  See our PetFusion Jumbo Cat Scratcher Lounge review video.

i have the “petstages snuggle, scratch and rest” too. i have 3 of them actually. my cats love these and like jenny said, they are too big for them (especially my black and white) but they just love those things. i’d love to have those “brawny cat” scratchers. i just love the look of them and they look big enough for a big cat. i will get one this year!

Wonderful selection or scratchers! I would lurve to have them all! lol 🙂

I do have #5 courtesy of a previous giveaway you had (thank you once again!) back in May 2013 (and it is still being used and adored and is in great condition). We call this awesome Petstages scratcher “The Sugar Bowl” and our Miss Pink Sugarbelle L-U-R-V-E-S this thing so much! It’s her goto place for napping/sleeping (when she’s not curled up between our legs when we are sitting in our recliners). She doesn’t use it for scratching very much, though. Just for snoozy winkling. 🙂 Her favorite cardboard scratcher is the Imperial Cat Mega Scratching Pad Deluxe. Here’s a link to see what one looks like (I didn’t buy it online. I believe I got it at our local Walmart back in 2013 and it’s still in great shape):

    Big hugs!

    Patti & Miss Pink Sugarbelle 🙂 <3

What a lovely collection of great scratchers! My girls love their Brawny Cat sleeky lounge and no matter what we have here, they always go back to their Petstages Snuggle, Scratch and Rest. We’re now on about the 5th one and they still love it dearly though they are falling over the sides. Think they like how it cradles them and the roundness of it. The Petfusion lounger is also great when they want to stretch out. Think the Katriss looks very interesting too.

    Thanks for the wonderful collection.♥♥♥♥
