Upcoming Cat Product Reviews in May and June

Share:

As many of you know, we review cat products we receive for reviews for a minimum of 4-6 weeks – and depending on the product, we might review it for longer than our 4-6 week time frame.

Here are three products that we are going to be reviewing in the coming weeks – as our review time frame comes to an end, I thought I would check in and see if there are any questions or concerns you’d like for me to cover in the final reviews.

Which one of these are you most excited about and why?  Do you have specific concerns or questions about that product?

What types of products would you like for us to be reviewing?

Did you know?  We love getting suggestions of products you are interested in us reviewing?

Also, I am DYING to get more comment interaction on the site – we have good engagement on social media – especially on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, but I would like to get more of a community commenting on the site – so if you have any ideas on how to do that or perhaps offer insight as to why people don’t – I am all ears.

  1. Hey, Jenny! Great preview of the reviews coming up in the near future! I’m most excited about the grooming tool as I’m always interested in anything that helps to keep Miss PSB’s coat looking good (and to TRY and prevent all those fluffies from taking over our small apartment…a battle I’ve been losing for years…lol). I don’t have any specific questions or concerns about the grooming tool as it’s pretty straight forward. It’s either easy to use, works well and Charlie and Trigg lurve it or not. 🙂 <3

Hmmmmmm. What types of products would I like to see reviewed? Let me put my thinking cap on. You pretty much have all the bases covered on what I like to see reviewed…i.e., Delicious Schtuff (treats, food dishes, catnip), Hydration Schtuff (water bowls/fountains), Bodily Function Schtuff (litterboxes and litter), Fun Schtuff (toys, games, scratching posts), Sleepy Schtuff (lounges, beds, cat caves), Grooming Schtuff (clippers, combs, brushes, de-matting items).

I currently don't have any suggestions for product reviews. Can't think of a thing right now. If that changes, I'll let you know. 🙂 <3

Would lurve to see more comment participation, too. Everyone has an opinion! Don't by shy, folks! I think most of the Floppycatters are probably so very busy that they just don't have the time to comment here as well as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & YouTube. I pretty much stick to putting my comments here (and on YouTube) rather than ALL the social media sites (that's my personal preference). Quite honestly, I don't know how you keep up with everything between all the different sites, You Wonder Woman! 🙂 <3

Big hugs & lots of love!

    Patti & Miss Pink Sugarbelle 🙂 <3

P.S. I hope that Teresa or Patricia or Irene will have something more productive to say on all of this…. 🙂 <3

    1. Thanks, Patti – I think I am going to try the EquiGroomer on Parker and see what happens.

Ha ha ha on your nomenclature – “Delicious Schtuff”, “Hydration Schtuff”, etc.

Yes, if you come across a product on another site, on TV, in a mag, on Facebook, for example, please do let me know!

I don’t know why comment participation lacks so much. I actually prefer for comments to be left on the site rather than on the social media pages because you never know what’s going to happen to Instagram or Facebook, for example. What if they go caput like MySpace? Then all that content is gone – so I’d prefer it to be here. I’ll keep asking for comments – maybe one day, we’ll get more participation.

      1. If I see or hear or think of anything for review, I will definitely let you know ASAP! Pink swear! 🙂 <3

Hoping the comments from all the lovely, wise and funny Floppycatters out there will increase, too! 🙂 <3

  2. First just want to say that these videos are so PRECIOUS! During each one, I was sighing, laughing and ooooing (SP?) over how cute all your kitties are. You are so lucky, Jenny, to have all those kitties to love on and be in your family. Know there are more, too!
OK, so on to the reviews! Think that EquiGroomer looks interesting. From the looks of it, it mostly gets the top, loose fur off which is great when they are shedding so much. I can brush and brush them with the EZ-Groomer, and they still have those top hairs that become loose and they get in their mouths. It’s funny because Illaria looks to me to get that fur out of her mouth for her so she won’t have to swallow it. This would be great for that and could keep it handy for those occasions. Also, think it would be great for kitties who don’t like grooming since you said that Charlie was closing his eyes and going to sleep it felt so good. Would be a good one to try on Miss Mari to see if it would help her feel more relaxed. If it does, I will buy 10 of them! Haha! I’m really excited about this and will be ordering it after your review!♥
The Cat Cave and beds look like really good quality products too. Thanks so much for giving us a pre-emptive peek!
Hmmmm, what we want reviewed? Think basically the same as Patti just said. (She already covers things so well!). Also, like you have done in the past too that sometimes you review cat items for humans who love them. One particular website that I love to go to for very good quality items (purses, and jewelry mainly), is Triple T Studios. Just love, love, love their sterling silver jewelry. The owner is so nice and always includes a little surprise with every order almost. They have some amazing sales and great prices.

Have you ever reviewed any kitty harnesses and leashes? Know that your boys go in your backyard that is enclosed where they are safe and don’t need those. Here, I don’t have an enclosure anymore presently (it got too old – maybe some day we’ll get a new one). So, when I take them out on the back porch with me, they have to have their harnesses and leashes on. Love the Lupine harnesses because they can’t get out of them since they have one portion that goes around their neck like a collar which is also attached to the portion that goes around their chest. Feels great knowing they can enjoy themselves and I can relax without worrying if they were frightened by something that they could possibly get out of it. Also, think the Lupine ones have a lifetime warranty (would have to recheck that).

Otherwise, just keep on doing what you are doing in reviewing all the great products and if I see something, will definitely be glad to let you know so everyone here can learn about it too.

Posts – Like Patti said, know that many people are busy with work and other commitments, but it would be so great to hear from other’s especially since there are Floppycatters from all over the world here! Isn’t that amazing? Would love to hear different viewpoints, etc.

    Thanks so much Jenny!♥

    1. Hi Teresa,

Thanks for the feedback. I think I am going to try the EquiGroomer on Parker too. I think the Equigroomer will do wonders on a short haired cat – but as you astutely pointed out – it does get the top hair from the coat.

Got a great pic of Charlie ON the Cat Cave tonight – so fun.

Yes, on cat products for humans – or whatever. I have tried over and over again to work with a paint company, a carpet company, etc – anything a cat owner might need and might need to consider given living with their cats.

Yes, I reviewed harnesses and leashes when I first started – Charlie and Trigg were paralyzed wearing them! Unfortunately, I can’t review them as they won’t tolerate them. But Lupine is the one we reviewed way back when.

You have been wonderful about sending me product suggestions – thank you!

I know about Floppycatters everywhere – last night I was emailing with a UK native, living in France and working in Luxembourg!

      Thanks,
      Jenny
